more like my first genre is so played in many Sup Forumstants life before a real conscious music taste that going back to the familiar is boring and a step back

Lmao but he likes the Stones and Sprigsteen (or do you mean that's the reason mu hates him), at least he has a personality and his own taste.

I like dadrock

But Anthony likes dadrock

I find most dadrock boring.

This, dude solos and high pitched male voices lmao, better make everything sound thin as fuck too for that mall audience lol.

anthony like a lotta dad rock.

Is this even a thing anymore? The average Sup Forumstant now was born between 1997 and 2001 and have gen xer and early millennial parents.

i think the retards with memes are that age but they also are pussy when it comes to taste and easily fold to opinions that those 5-10 years older more share. but also their parents listening mixes the two if rock hits stations are to go by since 90s is now included with classic rock on many of the stations

>tfw rhcp is now considered "classic rock"
fuck me dude

i like music

the songs under 25 years old that have made it onto classic rock stations across the country are so confusing. theyll play a dave matthews track, then godsmack, followed by some classic zepp or floyd or whatever, then the fuckin gorillaz

I hate dadrock because I live in a small town and that's the only shit they play at any events, bars or restaurants I go to around here.

my friend is a dad and he likes radiohead

is radiohead dadrock?

what is dadrock?

rock bands old enough to have been enjoyed by your dad when he was a teenager

I bet your town wasn't cool enough for shit like this: youtube.com/watch?v=zndpi8tNZyQ

Literally my jam right now, thank you for that.

Dadrock is 50/50 to me. For every Beatles there’s a Steve Miller Band waiting to bring the overall cool level down a notch.

no different from any other genre, really

Dadrock is a meme.

It's a meme that dismisses music from a certain decade. Sure, I understand that a lot of is classic rock that is played to death on FM radio, but shit like this is golden: youtube.com/watch?v=QGwiSqJIrso

correct

is nirvana dadrock

Get out.

I was born in 97 and up until high school I listened to nothing but classic rock/jazz and was of the opinion that "today's music" sucked. Granted, my dad was jazz nazi born in the sixties, went to Berklee, and has made a living playing the piano his entire life, so maybe I don't represent the vast majority of people in their late teens and early twenties.

Does your dad, uncle, or friends thereof like Nirvana? If so, then dadrock 2.0.
