terrible red house painters choice

I prefer down colorful hill, but most people i know prefer Songs For A Blue.
The user suggested it.

Just been listening to OAI more recently so thought I'd post it, at its core it's more of an indie rock album than ITAOTS imo

Some Olivia Tremor Control Album
Some Ben Folds Five album
Some Yo La Tengo album
Tindersticks
Hum - You'd Prefer An Animal
Eric's Trip - Love Tara
Some Jawbreaker album

That's all I got, post results pls

Where the hell is Morning Glory/Definitely Maybe!

op go to allmusic dett com look at the 90s album ranking for each band on your list, by star rating of the users (not the review) use rym as a secondary source if needed, i personally don't trust rym because a lot of trolls use it and a lot of people give good albums low ratings because they are trying to push their favorite band higher up in the top 1000 list. allmusic isn't a competition, the users posting on the bands discography are actual fans, and even for indie acts there's at least 200-500 people giving their opinion, so thats a solid amount.

Ben Folds Five were great but not indie rock

>Some Ben Folds Five album
>Hum - You'd Prefer An Animal

he said indie rock not shitty 90s alternative radio.

what a laugh.

Bossanova or Trompe Le Monde

It's "You'd Prefer an astronaut"

...

If you're only doing one album per band it might be worth putting ITAOTS instead of AOI if this is an "essentials list" idk what do people reckon?

Ben Folds isn't indie rock at all, but he also wrote some pretty good songs on his ben folds five

>'90s indie rock

Yeah, i miss it too.

something by The Flaming Lips
Yerself is Steam by Mercury Rev
Phantasies And Senseitions by Bugskull
The Emotional Plague by Supreme Dicks
No Pocky for Kitty by Superchunk
Exile in Guyville by Liz Phair

Updated

Good choices, lots of these aren't indie rock though my dude.
