ITT: we support, follow, share, and give constructive criticism to each other (which you probably won't because you are all so full of shit) on various websites for music sharing such as Bandcamp (piss), Soundcloud (shit), Youtube (not a legitimate music sharing site) and nothing else.
Post a link to your site(s) and other anons follow/share/give feedback (again - you won't because you are fucking lazy).
People who post links and shill themselves after 5-10 posts without participating in any feedback/discussion are unwelcome and should be ignored. This rule will be ignored by all participants though.
Hello anons, I hope you're having a fine day! I even hope that the grumpy OP will be less grumpy soon.
Here's my stuff: "Reckless Spirits In Times of War" is the second and, at the moment, last release from me, I need to get back to the real world once or twice.
"Reckless..." are all the stories yet untold from the minds of certain individuals from the dark past.

Will see how this thread progresses (if at all)

Expected this to be garbage based on description, but is actually pretty good. I don't really care for the processed vocals, but the guitar and synth work is tight. Would describe it as "nostalgic," feels retro without being gimmicky or derivative.
I like RIP Sazuke and Tall Jan, don't care for Country Bears.
Shades of Pink's introduction goes on for a bit too long I think, but once the actual beat starts it's pretty tight. At times a bit too distorted for me, but still solid.
You're a fan of Swans, right? "Why Hide" and "Imprisoned in Your Skull" can't be coincidences, lol. I'm not really one for noise, but Phantom and Marching into Flames are pieces I could see myself listening to if I'm in a particularly droney mood.
I'm going to listen to everyone else too, gimme a min

that's the point, its low res, raw and sloppy like my music

Was interested in this because I'm a fan of The Caretaker. I think your sound is different enough from his to be its own thing, which is commendable considering how similar your methods are. Your song titles very much seem like Caretaker rip-offs, though, but that's a nitpick at best. "Our children", "The dear old friend" and "The brewing fear" are stand-outs from what I've listened to.
I like the warm synths and the drum loop on "a rising tide" but the hi-hat(?) loop sounds off and is pretty annoying. I wouldn't say it ruins the song, though, but it would be better without it. It gets much better as it goes on.
I really like the drum pattern at the beginning as well as the synth at the end of in "in the eye of the storm," very chill song.
BTW do you design all your own covers? I like your aesthetic.
I like "Morning Mist" although I think it's too repetitive. I see a lot of comments saying that the lead is too loud, I don't really agree, it just takes too long for the song to actually go anywhere.
"Lake View" is neat, very unsettling and uncomfortable. I don't know if it's something I would listen to while relaxing but I could see it being in a video game or something.
I love me some good vapor beats, I dig it. Great use of samples on "l i g h t", as well as on "f a l l," which sounds like you're sampling someone fumbling on the guitar? Very unique, which is rare in most vapor stuff. Well done.
Not into this kind of music but it sounds good, you've got a great voice.
"night" is perfect music for driving in the city, love the sound of the snare. I also like "spacey beat" but it's a tad repetitive.
"Binary Waltz" is fantastic. Love the piano melody and the guitar solos are great as well.
The drums on "Last Stand" really stands out, very punchy but goes well with the softness of the other instruments. The guitars at the end are euphoric, great job.
Love the beat and those distorted synths, although I really don't care for the vocals. Can't say your singing is bad or anything like that, but I think it would be more interesting to focus on the instrumental.
"suntory" has a great chord progression, and the lofi aspect is utilized well, doesn't just sound like badly recorded garbage. "rhodes" and "atoll" are also really cool, nice and chill. Make me think of nights at the beach.
This is Isolated and I would like to thank you for your time and listen! Indeed, I'm slowly trying to get away from my love (and simultaneous rip-off) of The Caretaker so I agree with the titles not being the best possible original things. But I like that you didn't hate my work! :)
Though I'm not a big fan of metal nor doom-y side of it at least what I can say is that the mix could use a bit more punch (I feel there is a bit of a flatness at times). The playing proficiency is really fine to me (though I'm not initiated into that genre so take it as you want) and the overall structure of the songs are pretty fine. Although I would be really careful with making longer tracks in the future - you might lose a bit of a steam in the long tracks. But it's fine to me, not a fan bc of bias, but it's definitely not a time wasted :)

Your vocalist reminds me very much of Julian Casablancas, nice. The electric guitar and acoustic guitar are mixed well and don't get in each others' way, if you know what I mean. Songwriting is tight, great riffs. Will come back and listen to the EP in full.
Pretty good stuff, but nothing that really grabs me or stands out as particularly unique. Keep going at it though, your guitar skills are fine and your voice is good.
The beat on "podcast" is pretty great, the vocals made me laugh, they're so goofy. "Spread a Horse" is also really cool, nice use of guitar. I love the sense of humor on your tracks, what you're doing definitely stands out. I'll return to listen to the whole "Versace" album.
dang man that sample at the beginning of missing pieces cuts deep. Great use of samples and beats all across the board, I'll return to listen to the whole EP.

Thank you for the good words, I greatly appreciate them. Doom/Sludge is still something that resonates greatly with me to this day, and this is definitely done right, love the drumming on this thing, really adds character to the riffs, tone is on point, fat, but not too mushy. New Shoes For Heather definitely sticks out, and I do suggest moving towards that sort of direction in the future, with a few adjustments (grumpier vocals would definitely work, something Tom Waitsy, something in that lane). >>You're a fan of Swans, right? Of course I am, Swans are a pretty important band for me, glad you noticed!

Yes that drum is off on purpose, it should've faded away eventually but I always get my mixing wrong, and thats a known issue unfortunately
