Tony and AJ have such a great friendship
I was there at Champion's Week in Vegas back in November when they flew AJ out to Vegas to surprise Tony.
AJ had just come off some very recent health problems and was much more frail than he appears in this video
The elation on Tony's face when AJ walked out on the stage was indescribable.
Most of the Chase drivers on the stage were drinking during the show, especially Tony, so it was pretty emotional and also a big celebration when AJ joined them.

Indy at Road Atlanta when?

cute desu

just accept it, reddit is superior than Sup Forums
all we ever got was the reputation of being racist hackers and a agar.io skin

We got William Shatner on our side now. That's something.

fyi
It should read "times in EDT"
EST is for standard time, we're on daylight savings time now

I watched the Skip Barber GP in INDYCAR this weekend. Was a great race.

Who pumped for INDY GP??

Paginaud will fuck up Dixon.

Welp, off to a bonfire tomorrow night

30 minutes until Trucks hit the track for the first time in over a month

>that OP
Holy fucking shit kill yourself
Don't make the threads if you're not going to put effort into the OP

Instead of bitching, post your additions

Fuck that

>>>/f1/

you are deeply upset and I love it

Lacking anime in here. Spice this place up a bit

WATER YOU DOING NASCAR

That car has no chance of making it into the field because the fan meme vote is rigged for Danica and whatever flavor of the month doesn't make it in on speed (chase)

Even the Dogecar only happened because literally one person making huge donations. Phil Parsons milked it for all it was worth with t-shirts and stuff until he cut and ran from PRISM.

...

Lot of guys in the trucks are college students. Have to give them time to finish finals.

...

>all we ever got was the reputation of being racist

So Sup Forums is the white board, I take it?

Cancer.

Pure cancer.

Bit rude desu

>yfw CGR, RCR, Hendrick, SHR, Penske, and even Roush, all have race victories so far this season.... and JGR doesn't.

...

jgr still gonna win championship

...

L - R: Krut, Neuman, Kenseth???, Hurvick, Jimmie, Junior.

Yes, that's Kenseth
he was a dashingly handsome young lad back in the day

...

In 2005, which of these drivers did you think would have the best career? I still had high hopes for Ryan "Rocket Man" Newman. He was supposed to win championships for Dodge. F

I knew Jimmie would win 2+ championships but didn't anticipate his success. I would not have stuck around if he told me he would win 7+

If some time traveler from the future told me this, I mean.

>your at the track and this guy slaps you're gfs ass
wat do?

Lol

...

Pic related won a cup race last weekend, and he did it by blocking the shit out of Kyle Bush.

How fucking awesome was that?

This has been the best season in the past couple of years so far.

>Steakhouse
>Not A Real Track meme
>waaaaaaaah

Best in a while

based shit OP is back

...

Judging by everyone's edginess, yea

where can i watch this shit

>blocked by Ricky at a 'fake track'
>dumped by Logano at Vegas, then btfo by Penske crewman
>lost The Clash by 10 car lengths (and growing) and blamed Bowman for not drafting

Kyle has repeatedly been BTFO this season and its great

>be Sadica
>earn a ride in NASCAR because you're a meme driver
>entire team, but you, consists of series champions
>entire team, but you, earns pole positions and victories every year
>can't manage to land a top 5
>can barely manage to land a top 10 once or twice per season in top tier kit
>start fucking a competing driver on a shittier team
>outperformed by your boyfriend in shittier equipment
>boyfriend manages to earn a victory before you do in shittier equipment

Top keks

To be fair, Steakhouse is a good driver. He's just in shit equipment. I think he's signed on to Roush for a long term contract. Sucks to be him.

When Ricky joined Rousch they were still a top tier team
He did well in the Kryle wins lol series all things considered
2 championships and a few wins

I'd argue that RFR is a 2nd tier team this year
It's turned around

She will win the Pepsi 400 and shortly thereafter announce retirement due to pregnancy this year

...

Pretty amazing that there wasn't a bust among them and they're all still full time

He's better than Bayne

Wasn't Jeremy Mayfield a "Young Gun" at some point back then?

really activates my charcoal

Is she gonna be ready for Kansas after the dicking Steakhouse gave her?

My almonds, they just came to life!

Has she EVER been ready for Kansas?

She's got a little Steakhouse growing inside of her womb
Of course she's ready for Kansas!

If pic related wins this year for the Wood brothers, this will go down as the best season in the past 10 years.

True

...

Alfonso will wreck out before lap 15

nah, by that time he had been about a decade into his Cup career and spent time at two top tier teams

>everyone in that picture has won the 500

So nice to see Juan Pablo Montoya back

He deserves a full time ride with Penske more than Hello desu

So, the big rumor is NASCAR will be racing this course next year instead of the oval
Thoughts?

NASCAR needs more road courses so I'm okay with it, but they really should get rid of one of their 1.5 milers and run both indy courses

I think the reason why NASCAR is looking at running the Brickyard on the road course (Aside from marketing gimmicks if course) is that while NASCAR understands that fans want to see more road courses on the schedule, all of the current tracks are contracted for Cup races until like 2020-2021.

I read that it's Indianapolis Motor Speedway themselves that told NASCAR to run the road course

Indycar P2 is on
youtube.com/watch?v=lgfsqad3QgE

I'm curious what version of the road course they will run.

They could run the new faster backstretch chicane and bypass the Turn1 complex by running the banking like F1 did. Laps would be super short but I don't think NASCAR is as autistic as F1 about circuit length.

Current incarnation blows so it's worth a shot

nth for homoeroticism

I thought it was the 500 miles this weekend.
So there's two race in Indianapolis, one on a track and next time it's the 500 miles on the speedway, right ?

>So there's two race in Indianapolis, one on a track and next time it's the 500 miles on the speedway, right ?

yep

This is just wishful thinking from the fans, right? I rarely enjoy the Brickyard 400. Road courses are always entertaining.

>indymania starts this weekend

preparing for /porktenderloin/ as we speak

rumor is that it's IMS officials pushing NASCAR that direction
I think Monster is behind the push for road courses as well. That's why you hear chatter about the 2nd date at Charlotte being run in the infield next year

Most of the 1.5 mile tracks with two dates should be on the oval for one race and the Road Course for the second

I would rather see a dedicated Road Course added (Road America, Road Atlanta, Sebring etc..)

Daytona infield could be interesting especially if they did it under the lights

Indycar qualifying on now
