Why did Nepal became independent before India?
they actually fought the british instead of bending over like the indians/pakis did
just like you bended over for the russians/commies while the afghans fought them
Well, to be fair, the Afghans got a lot of help from the Pakistanis and the Americans
sure
dont forget the british, those were the most important (well, after the afghans themselves)
Kys Khatna-fag.
North bended over, southern kyrgyz tribes didn't and they were wrecked in the battle between armed cossacks and savage archers. Also, i don't regret considering current state of Afghanistan.
I also don't think afghans regret it considering the fact that central asia is now the most irrelevant, horrendous concoction of turco-russian trash
Have you been insulted by central asian and now you traumatized or what?
en.m.wikipedia.org
Other South Asians also fought british. The difference is that Nepal don't have any valuable resources and therefore British didn't bothered to annex all of their lands. Same with Afghanistan.
no, I just dislike it
I think it's the most despondent region of the world
a combination of the worst traits of russians and turks
Nigga you're defending the pointless violence and loss of life in Afghanistan just to btfo someone on a Laotian basket weaving forum.
The loss of life in Afghanistan doesn't matter because it has a birth rate of almost 5.
...
a picture of a frog is not an argument
> a combination of the worst traits of russians and turks
Define them, i'm curious
So Afghans still live in stone age with low life expectation and high birth-rate. It must suck to live in Afghanistan.
And it's still better than what you said.
turks
>stupid
>dumb
>ugly as fuck
russians
>commie collectivist disgusting mentality
>shitty human rights
>corrupt to the bone
still not an argument
they can find solace in the fact that they're not indian
> >stupid
> >dumb
Well-well, I see that you have brilliant mind. That is also great argument.
turks are stupid as fuck, and they're genetically unintelligent. those mean different things.
>turks are stupid as fuck, and they're genetically unintelligent.
Then how did these ""retards"" manage to conquer your motherland again and again?
Did you know rabid animals lose fear of humans?
lol
Reminder the new minister of war for ISIS is Tajik
I look a lot like him but a shade darker

Is that a sniper rifle?
Bump.
Why is this thread so dead
Should I invite people fom Indiachan?

Can you solve thos problem given by Walter Lewin. My answer is 8.02%.
Shouldn't I know the first problem?
Besides I'm pretty tired of all this after exams. Programming, experiments, math problems, physics, did all that shit lots of times long ago.
Now I want to do something exciting. Like driving a crotch rocket!
Also if you're interested in challenging physics problems, try Problems in General Physics by I.E. Irodov.
The difficult problems are pretty good.
I have solved all ptoblems in mechanics section and in electro-magnetic section of I.E.Irodove. Although I took some help from my teachers and friends.
*problems. Fuck mobile typing.
Really? So how many marks are you getting in advanced?
I guess I will get enough to get admission in Indian Institute of Space Science and Technology.
The JEE Main cutoff for general is 310 for IISc
Can any Pajeet explain this to me?
>many Indian high schoolers can easily solve physics problems from Irodov
>there are 1.3 billion Indians
>India has only produced 2 Nobel laureates in Physics
>almost no Dutch high schooler can solve any problem from Irodov, let alone all of them
>the Netherlands has 17 million people
>produced 10 Nobel laureates in physics
Do you simply stop trying after high school?
not IISc. I want to joint IIST.
>Do you simply stop trying after high school?
This is true. Most of us will go for IT field or some other engineering instead of Research in Physics. We also don't have very advanced Particle Accelerators like the one in CERN.
What's the cutoff for that and is it through Main or Advanced?
Pretty sure Indian students perform decently in International physics, maths and chemistry olympiads.
The education scene is very competitive and the smart ones just go for the highest paying degree from the best institute rather than something of their interest.
Does this really work lads?
It is through Advanced. You can check it's last year's cutoff on it's official website.
DDA!

Well this Physicist is an Indian. The problem is we don't have equipment like the one at LIGO so our physicists immigrate to foreign nations and then their research is not considered as Indian.
Just looked around and India does perform well in physics and to a lesser extent chemistry, but woeful at math, they had 34th place last edition and placed lower than Indonesia in the last 4 editions
Can't find it...
Besides I hope you're not assuming the cutoffs from last year's paper. This year's exam had a similar marking scheme but was far, far easier.
Your best bet will be looking at closing ranks but you can't really guess your rank with accuracy. You might be able to compare your percentage with 2014 advanced paper because that was also pretty easy.
I knew a guy who qualified from India for the physics olympiad.
Really intelligent and hard-working. I guess physics is easier to prepare for than maths.
Also pretty funny
>Iran population: ±80 million
>Germany population: ±80 million
>Iran average placing last 10 Olympiads: 12.8
>Germany average placing last 10 Olympiads: 18.4
When Iran abandons Islam it will be a literal superpower
I guess the "physics culture" is stronger in India than the "math culture". I rarely associate Indians with math, mostly with computer science and physics
By the way the Math olympiad is MUCH easier to prepare for than the Physics olympiad because the Math olympiad is literally just a bunch of mathematical problems that can fit on a sheet of paper whereas the physics olympiad consists for 50% of an experimental component
You can't really prepare for mathematics thoroughly in my opinion.
You can make a problem out of a concept you came up on your own. You just have to have a knack for understanding and solving those right then and there.
Do you gave the source for the scores? Ive become quite curious tbhwy
*have
Most of the ones solving irodov dont actually really like physics, the admission process is fucked due to the large population, so you have to study very hard to get into even a very shit college, the infrastructure and staff is absolutely bullshit in almost every indian college, and no one wants to do anything innovative, otherwise they would be making stuff instead of spending the age best suited for this stuff grinding books and nothing else.
Last five editions (can't be arsed to do 10):
>Iran: 14th place
>Brazil: 23.6th place
>China: 1.8th place
>Spain: 57.6th place
>France: 28.6th place
>Germany: 24th place
>Hungary: 21.8th place
>Israel: 24.8th place
>Italy: 25.6th place
>Japan: 13th place
>Korea: 3rd place
>Netherlands: 29.4th place
>Russia: 5.4th place
>Singapore: 7th place
>Turkey: 19th place
>Taiwan: 9.6th place
>UK: 16th place
>USA: 2nd place
Some funny things I noticed:
>East Asia FUCKING STRONK (keep in mind the US team is almost always at least partly east asian)
>Western Europe fucking WEAK
>Eastern Europe much better than Western Europe proportionally
It's like discipline in school.
And no motivation after it, "hopelessness".
The whole world needs to sort themselves out.
Well this. I wanted to do cool things in my high school like the guy in the movie 'October Sky', but most of my time was spent on preparation for competitive enterence exams.
What do you do now user? Would you say that all of that preparation was worth it?
Well I will come to know about it after the college gets started. That whether the college I have got was worth my effort or not.
Why Desi threads always lack qt's?
>post fit qt's plz
What college is that?
I am waiting for my JEE (Advanced) result. It will be declared on 11th June. I am hoping to be eligible to get Aerospace branch in IIST or any other IIT.
On IIST's website there is only the page for admission through Main.
Didn't see anything about advanced.
This is closest I got to fit

You're expecting your rank to be under 500 AIR in general category?
/saag/ spinach general
how does a white guy impress a south asian girl
gib biryani cooking hijabi wife plz
Let's hope for best. If I would not be able to get the required rank for IIST or any other IIT, then I will go for PEC, Chandigarh. It is the eighth best college in India for Aerospace Engineering and my JEE main marks are more than enough to be eligible for it.
What are your marks?
Have you tried BITS, by the way?
Did you ever think about going abroad? Or was that entirely out of the question?
Know a lot about India
Yeah I appeared for Bitsat, but I don't know that they offer a course for Aerospace or Aeronauticial engineering.
What are your marks in advanced and BITSAT?
I had thought about going abroad before, but the colleges and cost of living there is too expensive.
247 in Bitsat.
