Here are some of my favorites that you haven't already mentioned:
Plaid: youtube.com
Modeselektor: youtube.com
Holly Herndon: youtube.com
Here's some particularly great Squarepusher songs you may or may not already know:

>quinoline yellow - weekend rush
holy shit thats gold
Really like that holly herndon song, the modeselektor one was cool but would have prefered to not have the lyrics, I wish you could talk is actually my fave squarepusher song (I actually saw him live this summer and it was mental)
Modeselektor have some good stuff without lyrics, but yea if that's not your thing you probably wouldn't like them, or their main more main stream orientated project Moderat, although I'd suggest trying to look past that because both have great music.
I only know Holly Herndon because I saw her live, I've started getting into her because of it and she's amazing. It's awesome you managed to see Squrepusher live, I'm gonna have to look into what he's doing in the future.
What did you think of the Plaid song? Honestly they're my favorite out of the bunch I've linked.
you might like some grischa lichtenberger or kyoka
honesltly, a lot of the raster-noton catalogue from thier earlier years. a lot of stuff on mille-plateux.
that side of it is a very particular sound tho.
also, mark fell and gabor lazar if you want that precision engineered fuckery.

go ahead, nobody’s looking. i know you wanna tip it after listening to that one aphex twin track
intelligent music for intelligent people such as myself.
I'm actually quite a big fan of modeselktor, was really just this track. My fave is art and cash, one of my go to tunes when im at parties with a lot of technoheads
Can someone explain this stereotype to me
i make idm, and im off the grid practically
soundcloud.com
it's literally just memeing about the genre name afaik
new division is pretty good.

What are some of your favorite tracks?
oh, fuck, had no idea that's what idm stood for.
What the fuck makes it 'intelligent'?
Analogical force has been releasing compilations/EPs out the ass recently.
electro/acid/braindance sort of stuff, that is idmish right?
So IDM it's like the Xbox intro screen
Anything by Plaid
"Lichen with Piano" or "Precipice Drive" by Ametsub
"A Great Wave" by Ochre
"She Never Cries" by Proem
Gescom. They're a collaboration between autechre and some other guys I haven't listened to.
because it's dance music for your mind instead of for your body or something like that idk i didnt name it
don't listen to it's because the "artificial intelligence" warp comp popularized the genre
>genre has "intelligent" in the name
gee, I wonder how that's fedora
Jega, Rolando simmons, Check out enything on the CPU label or Love Love records.
Ignore all /bleep/posters and their shitposting. IDM > shitty club music.
Here's a few of my favorite IDM tracks, there's multiple u-ziq aliases listed but they're pretty good you should listen to everything he's done. You should take a listen to all of the albums these tracks come from. Some of them are so emotional and personal to me. I gravitate towards the depressing side of IDM it's comfy.

I highly recommend Machine Girl. Some pretty unique and interesting IDM/electronic/DnB.
>unique
It's a rip-off of Lone's Galaxy Garden mixed with footwork.
Remember when Braids went through their IDM phase?
Good times.

Tbh nothing really, i think it comes from the artificial intelligence eps that made it popular/sparked the genre. i actually find the name really cringy and it doesnt really describe the genre well at all but people will at lest know what you mean.
i still think it should be called chairgroove
procrasinationwave
This level of insecurity is sad, honestly
>Rolando Simmons
the new album is meticulous
