Vocals you shouldn't worry about during the day, drums just do during the day when they're at work or not giving a damn, If you have a day job this can be tricky, try to do it on Saterdays around noon or a day off. I had to wait until certain days to record guitars on my amp because it would get pretty loud, practice as best you can so you can do it in a few goes when you have the chance.
I guess I can understand, my bm taste have changed quite a lot over the years and I actually appreciate those kind of bands a lot now when doing something or playing a game in comparison to bands of WoD or most Wittr, it's almost like it's straight to the point without being a 3 minute song.

I'd argue Russia does but that's just my taste. America has a lot of great bands/solo projects because it's so easy for us to get equipment for cheap and record for cheap. In addition we have so much access to bm around the world and other types of music that influence us. I guarantee most of us in this thread have solo projects we record in our bedrooms, and some of us have probably played in bands even.
