the idea of someone actively seeking out and watching Midsomer Murders is quite funny
>Midsomer Murders
But yeah OP you just made me realise that i literally only know comedies made by my country and no non-comedy ones
Try lovejoy my nan watches it and hearbeat
Cracker is fucking brilliant
It's got Hagrid and everything
Luther
Silent Witness
Loads of historical serie, nonfiction and dramatized ones
Luther's supposed to be good but I've not seen it
Top Boy
This Is England
Life on Mars and Ashes to Ashes
Peaky Blinders is also meant to be good.
Victoria was quite good.
Though the Victorian age is one period of history I don't give a shit about so I have no idea how accurate it is.
Death in Paradise is essential Brit TV but you'd only appreciate it if you were British
The Shadow Line
Jonathan Strange & Mr Norrell
Inside no. 9 (sort of a comedy but not entirely)
Luther season 1 (2 is alright, 3 and 4 are not)
Peaky fookin' Blinders
Humans
Some recent stuff you might like just off the top of my head.
Life On Mars and its sequel show, Ashes to Ashes.
Doc Martin is GOAT
Literally an autistic doctor
But Doc Martin is only truly good if you're a posh Londoner and you've been to Cornwall and experienced their backwardness and incompetence
I personally love the 'Farm' series by the BBC. Basically a group of historians have to live and work on a farm in certain time periods, there are some spin offs too such as a series where they have to help build a castle in France using only historical methods etc.
I think you can find most of their stuff on youtube
The Inbetweeners
This Is England (watch the film first)
>Midsomer Murders
kek
at least get some Inspector Morse in yer.
boys from the blackstuff is 80s kino
good call lad
the singing detective was fucking good too
brit detective core:
inspector morse
taggart
a touch of frost
Original House of Cards is also good
Jonathan Creek is super comfy.
Killer Net is essential 90s britbong-uni-sex-computer-drugs-rave-murder-kino.
