Russian Language Learnings

I have a question to any of you Russia bros:

>How hard do you think it would be for an English speaker to learn Russian?

The Russian language just seems so guttural and raw. I love listening to it. I just want to learn how to speak it now.

Deutsch sounds much cooler than Russian and is easier to learn.

I'm taking classes for it currently. It's kind of rough getting used to but not horrible.

It has many rules that you won't find in English. On the other hand, reading and writing are kind of simple.

Why isn't this on Sup Forums?

For english speaking people learning any language with a case system/gender specific words is hard, but doable. Just start learning it.

It will be a hell of a fight to learn the basics of Russian grammar if you don't have any previous experience with slavic languages.

...

The thread I posted here didn't go anywhere.

it's easy to get decent, hard to be good, impossible to master.

Also this is not true. Writing in russian and pronouncing the words is not as simple as some other slavic languages as the letter o can mutate in an A sound. For example вoдa(voda) is the way you write the word for water but its pronounced вaдa(vada)

writing is the hardest pary mate. alot of fucking rules and exceptions

The trick is to not try and impose your American grammar syntax in your Russian translation. Instead, try to sound more like Tarzan.

Have you ever even heard actual Russian? It's palatized, with unnecessarily long vowels and jap-like consonants. The gayest of Slavic languages.

Why do you want to communicate with shitskins? Russian is much more useful.

Ask comrade Edward Snowden.

France is actually part of the Muslim world.

It's possible to learn any language if you have daily use for it, I know basic phrases for Swedish, German and Russian but have no use for the language outside Swedish movies/series.

easiest slavic language

It's easy to learn to speak it but grammatically it is very hard

Underrated post

Russian is shit language
German is far more primal and animalistic

You trying to get some Russian pussy bro

im also taking classes. its easy if you know a second language and youre going for your third. its funny seeing people trying to learn a second language. if youre 18 and dont have a second language locked down and fluent, you are plebian scum and you shouldnt even try at this point. it would be above you

Pretty sure asking Russians how hard it is to learn their language is the worst people you could ask. Better to ask people who have learned it like you plan to.

You will need full immersion to learn Russian Grammar. No way around it.

Unless you plan on spending time here don't bother.

I know Russian French and German learning Mandarin and I'm 23. I can get a job at the snap of my fingers.

you left english out. guess those jobs better search for a more competent person!

English is the standard pleb tier common tongue everyone is born with. You don't list it on your resume do you?

actually, with all the foreigners, listing fluent english on a resume is a thing

It is essentially a different type of language than english because it is case based rather than based on sentence structure. I speak russian and spanish, spanish is probably 2.5x easier than russian. Russian has 10 million rules so you need to learn from a direct and qualified source instead of just doodling betweens areas and getting lost.

I don't think it's very hard to speak decently, but being right 100% of the time is incredibly hard

learn to learn a better language.

you latvia go be boring somewhere else

why you stole our flag

Once you meet the dark world of Peka you can't come back.

Are you sure?

It's very melodic and easy as for a slavic language. If you really have the will, the hardest part is done, just do it user.

can you blame him ? russian polish chez and slowakai hungarian pussy is the best i ever tasted (i fucked a lot of escorts in my life and hookers)

Language learning is easy if you have a lot of use for it. People learn Japanese without a lot of problems because of huge amount of their easy entertainment.
With Russian you have plenty of literature (which admittedly would be a much harder read than your average Japanese manga), tons of decent Soviet movies and cartoons for reading and listening. For speaking you need to actually speak with people willing to help and correct you.

This, german wont even be a language in due time itll just be forgotten, arabic will take over as germanys language, russia on the other is in prime shape to survive another 300 years

Not too hard. After 1 minute you can understand вoт мaмa. Tнaт is as far as I got

It is overrated crap with loads of arbitrary rules and exceptions for memorization. Also it sounds like shit and painful to pronounce. There are plenty more better constructed and useful languages familia.
