who is he?

Some guy from an Irish website called boards.ie
He posted himself in a forum called *the ladies lounge*.

Good morning

Good morning, you are up early user. Didn't expect most to be awake until about 12 midday on weekends.

Cute gif.

Got up at half six thanks to going to bed early, had breakfast and played BotW until now. Might go for a walk later if the weather keeps up.

I'm up early every morning. Sleeping in late gives me a headache.

>check the Independent because I want news and hate RTÉ
>main article has a picture of Donald Trump and is a "muh diaspawra" article implying criminal niggers who get into countries illegally deserve rights
I fucking hate the media.

You sound like my mother.

I'm not a fan of the diaspora sympathy that goes on in our media and from our politicans. Worst of all is SF who wants to give them voting rights.

I see. I could sleep in until anytime. Have a slight tummy bug or something since last night. Wondering if it's something I ate.
It's like winter outside lads. Feels like November or something.

I take it you didn't watch the RTÉ documentary on the undocumented Irish in America? It's an hour full of people afraid they'll get caught for breaking the law.

It looks nice and sunny here now but I think it was pouring rain all night.

I actually had this weird dream about that RTE autism documentary last night. Also had to go to Africa for a friends marriage and we nearly died in some swamp.

I wasn't insulting you, you and my mother are the only two people I've heard of that get headaches sleeping in late. She goes to bed early most nights but usually has to get up in the middle of it for various reasons.

>Worst of all is SF who wants to give them voting rights.
I swear to God if that happens. No one living outside a country should have any say in how it's run. If you're out you're out. If you want to vote then come back. God knows how bad it would screw our politics with thousands of people making decisions that don't even affect them.

I had one where a lad was snorting cocaine off his own arm. Later I was in a knife fight with a man who tried to rob a shop.

>Have a slight tummy bug or something since last night
I've had one for a few days now. It's not that bad though.

which ireland is best ireland? I don't know which one I should be rooting for and which one I should hate

>I wasn't insulting you, you and my mother are the only two people I've heard of that get headaches sleeping in late. She goes to bed early most nights but usually has to get up in the middle of it for various reasons.
I think it's something to do with dehydration for me, if I go about 12 hours without drinking water even over night I tend to start getting a headache.

>I swear to God if that happens. No one living outside a country should have any say in how it's run. If you're out you're out. If you want to vote then come back. God knows how bad it would screw our politics with thousands of people making decisions that don't even affect them.
I agree. I'm not sure where the entitlement comes from. People should vote on the running of the country they live in, not where they were born.

Irish speaking Ireland I bet

...

As a German you should support the Ireland that supported east/west reunification after the Cold War. You owe us.
It would also piss off the UK for leaving the UK.

CONNEMARA STRONK

There's something really comfy about returning to a game you haven't played in 7 or 8 years and buying DLC you never owned for it. A nice mix of new and the familiar.

>if I go about 12 hours without drinking water
I don't know how you manage. I always keep some drinks lying around.

>even over night
That sounds rough alright.

>I'm not sure where the entitlement comes from. People should vote on the running of the country they live in, not where they were born.
I don't think it's something emigrants even want. It would turn our politics into a game of whoever can waste campaign money flying to the other side of the world to appeal to people who only have memories of life in Ireland. It's just Sinn Féin wanting to gather up more votes from abroad. Didn't they get a lot of immigrant votes because they were heavy on giving them citizenship years back?

he looks like my old friend from school
everyone liked him only irronicaly and was strongly bullied

>TFW too many black and Turks here
I want to move to Dublin where everyone is white

>Dublin where everyone is white

>Dublin blacks are loud, rude and obnoxious
>Limerick blacks are sound lads enjoying life
Never a better example of nurture over nature.

>just moved into brother's old room
>finally have plenty of free space and a proper bookcase
I can't believe I've been missing out on this for my entire life

>have the biggest room in the house
>no one uses the room next to it so I can keep excess stuff there

Why do you put use good girls for the shit counties?

Because she's browner than the rest of them so I thought it fits

Noticed this while watching the rugby. I'm not sure what was going on here but it looks like they intended to present a giant novelty bottle of vitamins to the man of the match winner.

Is there much logic behind most of them? I get Satania and Limerick since you like both but you seemed to barely know what Galway's girl was from. From what Wikipedia told me she was some kind of vampire or something. Do you pick them at random or just whatever looks nicest?

awake (two hours ago)

>sunny in the morning
>clear in the evening
>fucking awful clouds, wind and rain for most of the day
I'm getting sick of this.

/marbh/

Lads its really hot and there's people everywhere

What did you expect Honk Kong to be like?

shouldn't have gone to condensed china island then

No I used to live in the greater Chong so I knew what it was like

HK is like a way more compact version of it though.

Still, the Lions are on at good times, which is nice

I usually just pick a random hoor

jij

Do Cork pls :3

Always a step ahead

Red sky at night Shepard's delight. Red sky in the morning Sheppard's warning.
I quite like reading and predicting weather using senses. It's quite easy to tell what way it's going to go.
Maybe this is just an Irish trait.

Hey I was in Hong Kong recently. It's an amazing place, my favourite for sure.
You should check out cheung chau. Get the ferry out, it's a beautiful little island with a lovely beach and short walk through the hills.
Whatever you do don't bother going to Lamma. Everyone goes there and it's filthy. There's a gigantic coal power plant by the beach too. Totally overrated.

It's a trait of every animal on the planet. If our species wasn't capable of basic weather prediction we wouldn't still be here.

HK isn't really like mainland China. It's a totally different place and quite nice.
Just my opinion, I know it's a sensitive topic.

My boi

Will do, my dude, cheers. I'll be living here for a few months anyway, so definitely planning to check out some of the less-visited spots here.

The heat's stifling in Kowloon, but I'd imagine on a beach or island it'd be fucking great

there's no chinks here don't think you have to walk on egg shells

>/ire/ stealing /brit/ gimmicks
Sad!

simply the most aesthetic county

>/brit/ stealing Irish meme
>brit posting like the president of his country's overlord

Yeah but some people seem completely incapable of it. I spent a lot of time as a kid reading about the weather in books though.
33 degrees during the day, 30 degrees at night. Never changed and I liked that.
What're you doing there?

Didn't like how small and crowded everything was but I guess there are people that like that

Dan "face sittin' kids in west britain" Schneider

Came out to look for work- bored out of my mind in Dublin and had lived in China a few years ago, so wanted to come back.

I'll be looking for tech jobs, so kind of basing myself in HK and applying for stuff here, in Singapore and Shanghai. Just got to HK the other day so still getting my shit together before I really get going on meeting/networking, though I've a few things lined up.

Shanghai has become really livable, genuinely considering it too, but the salaries are lower. HK is crowded and hot, but the salaries are great. SG might be a nice mix of the two

As a kid I could tell what time of day it was from looking outside the window.

baited

I know you pick the characters at random, but 3 of them so far have been from New Game and 3 others from that angel anime I can't remember the name of.

...

Are you able to speak Cantonese or mandarin? Would love to live out there but have no transferrable skills.
I think it's so different to mainland China. I went over to shenzhen and I couldn't get out of there fast enough. Kip

You've missed a good few then

feasgar math

I can speak Mandarin, though I used to be a lot better.

Tbqh you could just come out and teach English. Mainland China is coming to the end of that period where you can get an engrish teaching job just by being white, but I hear Vietnam is right in the middle of it.

Yeah wasn't a massive fan of SZ, Shanghai is much nicer. The weird thing is that 5 years ago when I lived out here, HK was this amazingly civilised, orderly place compared to Shanghai, which was chaotic and shitty. Now it's the other way around, Shanghai is almost more advanced than HK, and HK is dangerously overpopulated.

Nah I'd hate to be a teacher. No interest in it. I'd rather work in a similar industry to the one I'm currently working in but I'd have to be fluent in Cantonese.
Shame to hear HK is going that way. I'll definitely visit again.
It's so cyberpunk.

What industry do you work in? If it's sales or something you might struggle for HK without actually being Chinese, but in that case I'd look towards Singapore, where it's all English.

I mean, there are tons of jobs out here, it's just a question of getting out here and getting them, or getting an irish company to send you.

I was sick of my job, my roommate was moving out, and I just really wanted to go, so I headed out here to look. Had a few months applying for stuff from Dublin with no traction, it's hard to do it without being in the country.

Hoping to pick up SOMETHING in the next month or two, once I have some income (and a visa) I can focus on getting something good.

I don't want to specify but I'd have to do a lot of communication and talking so Cantonese would be a must. I don't have a degree in anything either.
I have a fairly good job here, pay isn't great but it's not terrible either.
How much are you talk when it comes to salaries in the tech industry?

Looking forward to EA's shitshow?

/marbh/ because everyone is watching the rugby.

"Now we know you all enjoyed Mass Effect Andromeda earlier this year..."

EA is always the worst of the lot. Marketing buzzwords out the ass, sports, awkward as fuck celebrity appearances and cringe musical numbers. But I of course will power through the carcrash.

I'm just miffed #Girlwood isn't going to be hosting Ubi this year. Must've finally had enough

I wish to knock out every little ape in that fucking video. Especially that one with the fucked up teeth and wants to be the center of attention.

What rugby? Lions was this morning and Ireland is at like 10:30 tonight.

I wouldn't be surprised if the Bioware A-team turn up with what they've been working on now that their interns are done with Andromeda.

>EA is always the worst of the lot. Marketing buzzwords out the ass, sports, awkward as fuck celebrity appearances and cringe musical numbers. But I of course will power through the carcrash.
There are so few EA games I even care about so I'm not sure what the best case scenario out of this is for me. Maybe a new Burnout or SSX though I'm fairly sure the Burnout team were kneecapped and absorbed into the Need for Speed brand.

>I'm just miffed #Girlwood isn't going to be hosting Ubi this year. Must've finally had enough
I was disappointed to hear that. I'm not a huge fan of Ubisoft games but she always made the show fun to watch.

Which stream of E3 do you lads watch? One of the official ones or do you watch it on a Twitch streamers channel with commentary?

>EA is always the worst of the lot
Even worse than the Bethesda one? The last game I played that Bethesda actually developed themselves was Fallout 3.

If I care a lot about the stream I'll watch the official one since I'm interested enough for it to not get boring and I don't want interruptions from people talking over.
If I don't care that much and expect to get bored I'll watch one with commentary.

I usually watch Easy Allies, they're the old Gametrailers team and start streaming an hour before each conference to preview, commentate during and recap after.

I forgot that the Burnout lads showed off some shite alpha footage of a new franchise they were working on years ago and it's just disappeared off the face of the earth. Could use a new game alright. I'm surprised they keep shitting out Need For Speed, I've lost count of how many games there are in the franchise now
Bethesda publish Doom and Wolfenstein, and a new Wolfenstein called New Colossus has already been leaked via German Amazon pre-orders going up slated for an October 2017 release. The New Order and Old Blood were great so I'm hype

>I forgot that the Burnout lads showed off some shite alpha footage of a new franchise they were working on years ago and it's just disappeared off the face of the earth.
It's a recurring joke at this stage in EA conferences where they wander into the EA offices to show some lads concept art or models for a game that will almost certainly never exist in the form shown.

Can't wait to find out which celebrity who has no interest in video games will be awkwardly interviewed as well. Guessing Ronaldo since he's the cover star of the next FIFA.

I might go out and buy some alcohol for the EA conference lads.

Good idea. Sober viewing is not advised.

Despite the clouds it's actually nice out. Bit warm though.

>Can't wait to find out which celebrity who has no interest in video games will be awkwardly interviewed as well
So many things to hate about E3, and that's among the worse offenders.

The Scorpio reveal will be the most interesting, and this video is some good further food for thought. I bought a PS4 Pro myself last month

youtube.com/watch?v=w7VIFwYyj44

Really hope Kingdom Come Deliverance is going to be good so I can say WE WUZ KANGZ WHEN DEM BOHEMIANS LIVED IN DEM CAVES all day long

The Pro is a no brainer if you didn't already have a PS4 although I'm in the awkward spot of having a regular PS4 and not feelings its worth the upgrade and not wanting a bone so I'm hoping framerates don't begin to suffer on the old systems for new releases.
Do you have a 4K HDR tv?

About an hour or two ago I saw somebody at work watch some sport thing and u presumed it was rugby. Didn't even look at it desu.

>Why [thing] is [opinion]
I hate titles like that. Not as bad "So, [person] did [thing] and um, yeah..." though.

I saw Josie at a penneys store in Dublin yesterday. I told her how cool it was to meet her in person, but I didn’t want to be a douche and bother her and ask her for cosplay advice or anything.

She said, “Oh, like you’re doing now?”

I was taken aback, and all I could say was “Huh?” but she kept cutting me off and going “huh? huh? huh?” and sieg heiling in front of my face. I walked away and continued with my shopping, and I heard her chuckle as I walked off. When I came to pay for my stuff up front I saw her trying to walk out the doors with like fifteen pairs of high heels and a horsewhip in her hands without paying.

The buachaill at the counter was very nice about it and professional, and was like “Miss, you need to pay for those first.” At first she kept pretending to be tired and not hear her, but eventually turned back around and brought them to the counter.

When she took one of the pairs and started scanning it multiple times, she stopped him and told him to scan them each individually “to prevent any electrical infetterence,” and then turned around and winked at me. I don’t even think that’s a word. After he scanned each shoe and put them in a bag and started to say the price, she kept interrupting him by "NYAAAAAA-ing" really loudly.

Trying to straighten my posture and I swear it's getting worse. Maybe it's just because I'm making myself more aware of it.

God Bless Ian Paisley
