Let's talk about films where events are played out multiple times. I was reluctant to include things like 12 Monkeys or La Jetee in here because they're more about general time travel than films where the same events are repeated over time. Coherence doesn't really fit the bill but it's similar in a lot of ways.

There must be other films in this genre out there? I've heard of Predestination and Source Code, but haven't seen those yet or know if they are any good.

Interesting, but not exactly what I was looking for. Some of those examples only feature moments where such loops happen, or the looping isn't the major gimmick.

12:01 PM looks interesting though.

Incarnation

>Incarnation
That's not even out yet it seems.

...

That still doesn't explains how Rita realised she didn't have time resetting powers anymore after getting that blood transfusion

they both just knew it

run lola run is not a time loop movie.

also

>ARQ
>Looper

In a sense, it is a time loop movie.

That wasn't what you asked, and in the movie Rita says she just knew, same way Tom knew when it happened to him, it was a feeling they had.

I don't know what more you wanted.

Looper...

looper was awful. And it didn't even make sense in the fucking rules it established itself.
Picture this: what if a Looper had to kill his old self as his FIRST assignment. that way, there'd be a 100% chance he'd be loyal his entire carreer, as only loyal ones get sent back in time to be killed.
then shit like in the movie couldn't happen. which it couldn't anyways, because the entire premise is how they can't kill people in the future, but bruce willis is mad because they killed his wife. like, wat?

and whoever invented the fucking "kill yourself to prevent the time loop ever taking place" thing needs to be fucking shot by his future self.

50 First Dates, absolute Sandlerkino

I'm not the same guy, I was just pointing out what looked like a plot hole
Thanks for the screencap btw

>run lola run is not a time loop movie.
