Watch any horrorkino this Halloweeno, Sup Forums?
I watched this gem for the first time, and it's really got me in the mood for a horror kick. Probably the best horror movie I've seen in half a decade.

Fuck off back to red.dit.
I don't know what's worse, a redditor or a tripfag.
>hates tripfags
>not reddit
tripfags are the gods of Sup Forums
It's literally, objectively kino.
I supervised a group of kids Trick r' Treating...
Who the fuck needs birth control or condoms when you can just watch a 6 y/o get hyped up on sugar then run around and beg for more sugar, and then whine about how they have to go pee and they're thirsty and their feet hurt and they just want to go home after like 2 blocks.
>tripfags are the gods of Sup Forums
>t. tripfag
You're the cancer of Sup Forums. It's an anonymous imageboard, but you feel you need to seek attention and validation.
Here, have an upvote turboqueer.
This movie sucked balls. That autist son was so unbearable as a character. Dropped after an hour or so
I watched Evil dead series and night of the living dead and now I want more horrorkino.
What should I watch now bros?
Halloween is over.
Talk about turkeys now.
Gobble gobble, bitch.
If you want unbearable child actors watch The Visit
Redpill me on Gobblecore kino.
Nothing about it is actually "kino".
Whiny little kid who can't act.
Kid goes fucking home alone on the babadook.
Terrible third act. The only thing the film had going for it was its atmosphere and they completely fucked that up.
Not seeking validation, or attention anymore than you do when you post on Sup Forums. I'm just as anonymous as you. The only difference is that I have attached a name to my posts, and you have scurried under the blanket of Anonymous.
No thanks. That totally ruins a movie for me.
>I'm just as anonymous as you.
>The only difference is that I have attached a name to my posts
Cancer AND an idiot. Congratulations. Here's another upboat my good sir!
You use literally like an illiterate valley girl. Are you twelve?
Here, user.
youtu.be
Bootiful genre.
That was the point though. You were supposed to despise the little fucker so you could sympathize with her descent into madness.
Then the movie flips it on its head when she loses control and you realize he's just a vulnerable little kid with a fucked up mom who's probably not just descending into madness, but has been horribly sick and abusive for a long time. There's a reason he's a shithead.
Yes, anonymity describes "the condition of being anonymous". Do you know anything about me other than the contents of my posts? How is that not anonymity?
You seem to make a great deal about (you)'s, replies and "upboats". Are you sure you're not projecting here?
They should have been able to convey that without making me dislike his character outright. Rosemary's Baby did this. Rosemary is portrayed as somewhat dull and nagging but in the end she was right all along.
>lit·er·al·ly
>adverb
>in a literal manner or sense; exactly.
>In a sentence: "The Babadook is actually, completely, LITERALLY kinography, lad!"
Straight from webster's. Get rekt.
I've replied to you enough. You baited me and you got your attention. I'm the idiot here.
Having everyone be called 'Anonymous' means that you cannot discern who the post is coming from and therefore give every post equal attention. You're just an attention-seeking whore.
I'm hiding your posts.
Youre a dumbass. Saying literally then objectively is redundant.
Yous a biaaatch niggy
I dunno, I think it worked. I think we all wanted to strangle the kid by about 20 minutes in. Without that context, and imagining dealing with his shit every moment of every day, I don't think the mother's mental decline would have felt as real. It really did feel believable that she was being driven insane by her monster of a child, which made it so good when the whole thing flipped.
It's literally not.
I also hate british accents
You're not really making a point for yourself. Having each of my posts in a thread labeled with a name only helps posters identify me as one single person. Not for attention purposes but for ease of discussion. That's not a breach of anonymity. I'm not seeking attention, i'm only trying to have a discussion and shitpost just like you. If you can't see the difference with that then it is obviously a problem on your end. You seem to be obsessed with this idea of attention-seeking notoriety.
Just got off the phone with ur school. They are aware that u are using a restricted website and actions are being taken. See you in court.
Marmaduke was good but WAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAY overrated.
*dodges*
Nice try.
babdook is OK but jacobs ladder is king
Just got computer the dad with ur school. They are aware that u are using a restricted call and actions are being taken. See you in court.
>that fucking hospital scene
They're aussie you mong.
HUSBANDS HEAD GOT SLICED OPEN LIKE A GRAPE FRUIT LOL
Why didn't he just dodge?
I would've just dodged, fucking idiot.
why didn't the wife just yell "DUCK"
>tfw you realise Elizabeth Pena is die
I watched Trick R Treat last night, actually a solid movie
Yup. Too bad Krampus wasn't as good.
Not a horror film
Not a horror film
Stop posting psychological DRAMAS and presenting them as HORROR
It's MISREPRESENTING and shows your blatant LACK OF KNOWLEDGE about cinema and film in general
More like babaDUCK, am I right, fellow poster?
ya ya i feel u nigga
I admit I'm not a buff for cinema and film, but I am a Grand Maestro of Kino.
And brother, those are pure, bona fide horror kino. Or spookino, as I've taken to calling it, per se.
>you have SEVERED HEADTISM
>mfw thrillers and dramas are better at horror than actual horror movies
Stop putting such a strict label on things. A film is a film. Labels are only useful to categorize them, they are not the be all and end all of films.
Why didn't they just leave the house? The Babadook was trapped in the basement.
Fucking morons.
I wouldn't have blamed the mother for killing that insufferable autistic child. Would have made happy ending.
I finished watching AHS Freakshow.
easily the best season so far.
...
What is some good psychological horror with no gore? I watched the Shining with my mom and she loved it, but she hated The Thing and Videodrome
The Babadook is mental illness
was it kino?
either this or an embodiment of depression.
Uhhhh, mental illness doesn't eat worms, friendo!
I really enjoyed the conjuring 1 and 2
I get that he was supposed to be annoying, but when first thing I can recall when I think back this movie is how insuffereable that cunt was it is very poorly executed.
If she liked shining you might want to see Misery if she has not yet seen it.
It's grief.
She buried her husband's death and never dealt with it emotionally, and it ate her from the inside and manifested as hatred for her son. She turned the grief on him as an outlet, because he'd become a symbol for everything she'd lost.
It's why she keeps it in the basement with all the husband's things in the end. There's a place for grief, but it needs to be acknowledged and managed.
Maybe you'll enjoy this:
It took me way too long to realize she was the one who wrote the book.
ohhhh. that makes sense.
>tripfag justifying tripfagging and not just admitting he's a faggot
Filtered
Goodnight Monmy is in the same veign as Barmaduke
The Witch is a shit test of the highest order. I've never seen someone whose taste I respect speak well of this movie, only people I know that use reddit and fancy themselves "film buffs."
>a movie that uses the stock dinosaur jurrasic park sound for its monster
>good
>pointing out a singular flaw
>now it's a bad film
Doesn't work that way friend.
oh it's still a awful film despite that flaw desu. hipsters love it tho because omgsodeepthemonsterisactuallyallinherheadorisit??bravo
That's a lot of words for saying absolutely nothing.
>a horror movie that uses horror elements to present an actual story with good characters is no longer a horror movie
Correct. Get it thru ur skull melon head
I fucking love Horror. It Follows, VVitch, Lights Out, the list goes on.
Can we get some modern horror ranking here? It seems rotten tomatoes/critics fucking love any pile of shit horror that comes out, but to me, there's a big distinction between actual good cinema, and another run of the mill shit-fest.
Kino
>???
Pass
>Witch, It Follows, Babadook, The House of the Devil, Antichrist
Fail
>Conjuring 1/2, Magic Magic, V/H/S, Insidious, Creep, Lights Out
Haven't seen anything like Innkeepers, Don't Breathe, and a bunch of others.
The Borderlands (2013)
Took way too long to get around to this. One of the most aesthetically pleasing films I've seen.
>Watch any horrorkino this Halloweeno, Sup Forums?
I've watched Monster Squad for the first time, after marathoning a bunch of Universal Monster films.
It wrapped up a wild ride quite nicely.
This was really good.
The atmosphere and pacing was spot on, and I wasn't expecting that fucking ending at all
I finally saw Trick 'r Treat. It's a solid flick, I wasn't too insulted, some of the jumpscares and red herrings were cool. If I paid for it, I'd be pissed, but as of now I was entertained and the time just flew by.
My nigger.
watched this qt, loved the film too.
