If I had to guess, Will posted in Bandcamp threads. I don't think he was responsible for the spamming that happened afterwards. Twin Fantasy got quite popular within BC threads and I think that created fans (it's definitely where I first heard it). Then those fans spammed Sup Forums because they wanted to spread a "gem". He very clearly posted here but he seemingly did so in appropriate threads (BC, sharethreads, etc).

Vaporwave became a meme largely because of this site. It was originally just a loose aesthetic thing associated with Ferraro and Eccojams but Sup Forums gave it the label and coherent aesthetic and everything.

ITAOTS became an internet meme because of Sup Forums. The album was already an indie classic ofc but the cover became a big thing on Sup Forums and the normie internet in part because of Sup Forums.

Fantano's early fanbase was almost all Sup Forumstants and he posted here for sure. He referenced Sup Forums directly in some older videos.

CSH shilled his music here and Lorde's producer shilled her shit before.
