I don't even like the sound of the bassoon but I like playing in orchestras.

>I hope that as you continue to learn piano you'll start to enjoy theory more

I hope so. It's exacerbated by the book I bought, it's full of obscure folk songs that I've never heard as examples. Bought a different one on recommendation from an user.

I've found out I can play by ear quite well though so that's promising.

Guitar and vocals primarily.

Piano and Bass on a lesser extent.

Guitar, piano and vocals. But recorder is my main.

I am actually pretty good at harmonica although most people would not call it a serious instrument. I sing and play it as accompaniment to my friend who plays guitar, we do covers of Neil Young, Bob Dylan, Old Crow, Bright Eyes, and other stuff.

Trying to learn ukulele but the neck is so small that I just can't get my fingers on the notes.
