feel old yet? also what's your favorite song off it?

You Are Invited is my favorite. Am I pleb for thinking that?

maybe but who cares? good song

listening to it right now, just as good as I remember it

ages like fine wine

1999 had some of the best indie/alt rock releases ever. Dismember Plan, Blur, Magnetic Fields, Flaming Lips (before they became passe), Wilco, GYBE... Probably a few more I'm forgetting.

memory machine

YOU ARE INVITED

Good choice, same here

SOMEDAY
I'M TELLING YOU

thank you for reminding me of this album user.
I'd say "What Do You Want Me to Say" or "Gyroscope" are tied for me, This album is so comfy

such a fucking good song

Wow, he sounds like Graceland-era Paul Simon on that more shoegazey track. What a weird album.

One of those albums with no clear best track
I'd have to go with The City or A Life of Possibilities

I'd say the City is my favorite song of all time so it's a bit unfair. Second favorite track is Gyroscope.

my favorite is probably the city
but 8 and 1/2 minutes is really underrated

memory machine

Gyroscope by a large margin

back and forth

Girl O'Clock

i find myself singing lines from a different song on this album every single day and have for years and i keep waiting for it to not be relatable and it pisses me off it still is

Am I weird for thinking this is just "okay"? I don't really feel incredibly strongly about it.

Spider in the Snow

the first line of that song alone changed my outlook on life

What's the album actually called?

Gyroscope probably. All the fast-paced ones with insane choruses.

Honestly don't have a favorite, it's all equally good to me.
Emergency & I

memory machine, probably

A Life of Possibilities and Whay Do You Want Me To Say?

Also am I the only one that thinks this albums sounds kinda like early SOAD?
Or at least some parts of it

Absolutely

The City and memory machine. The City always hits reall hard but god I love the guitar texture on memory machine

OK, who else is a real big fan of the jitters? no other song of theirs has affected me as much as that one besides maybe sentimental man

you are invited made me cry the first time i heard it so probably that

right now i'd probably say Gyroscope or What Do You Want Me To Say?

but everytime i hear it I love Spider in the Snow more, so it'll probably be that eventually
