M*A*Y*D*A*Y

What did he mean by this?

Twin Peaks thread

GOOOOOOOOLD?

THe lodge is just the star gate and Bob was a very poorly named Gooooold.

Im on e20s02. Very peculiar show, its like a ironic soap opera. Why current TV programs cant do some whacky shit like TP?

Because serialized television did not exist back then aside from soap operas, so the network had nothing to compare it to. Now that it's just as much of a machine as episodic television, it could never happen.

CoopBOB probably killed him, Truman and Annie.

He meant Bob was planning to kill him before he could reveal his new identity.

That's classified.

I'm gonna guess Catherine and Donna too, since they're not coming back.

The book said that Catherine basically became a recluse after Pete and Andrew died in the bank explosion. I don't think Donna was mentioned at all, though.

Is Tamara Preston /our girl/? She's a quirky movie buff that literally cites "this is the plot of a movie" in her official FBI work, hopefully Laura Dern plays her.

What a load of shit. TP came out in 90/91. You had Star Trek and other shows before that that weren't soap operas.

It has to be Dern or Watts.

Bob and the native american spirits and the Black Lodge and all that shit are a pocket dimension. The origin of all of the supernatural shit occurring in the show is some malevolent being or beings which transcend time and space

Star Trek was not serialized until DS9.

>tfw no phillip jeffries
>tfw no chet desmond
>tfw no sam stanley

Not for lack of trying. Sometimes these things just don't work out.
>Bowie is dead
>Issack has barely acted in years
>Sutherland is way to big to do what would have probably been a guest spot in an episode or two

So the book confirms ayy lmaos are a major factor of the twin peaks mythos. Good or bad?

We wont know until we check next season. It can be a "Just fuck my show up" yhing.

No it didn't. At the end the Archivist surmised that all activity assumed extra-terrestrial was actually extra-dimensional. As in the lodges.

>mfw fav character won't come back

This. I'm convinced that half of the people who talk about the book have ADHD.
