>book

>frank miller and darren aronofksy's batman year one

holy fuck
why was this not made

david lynch's revenge of the jedi.
david lynch's return of the jedi

Kubrick's Holocaust film (he scrapped his after spielberg came out with schindler's list)
Kubrick's Napoleon.

Orson Welles' Heart of Darkness (essentially apocalypse now if directed by OW)

Thats so weird, but probably guaranteed to become a cult movie if it was made

>early 90s Winona in a bikini

Ridley Scott's Blood Meridian.

DC cinematic universe as imagined by George Miller (how did WB fuck this up?)

because the ideas for the movie were fucking awful

Terry Gilliam's Don Quixote (obivous)

I'm still waiting on him to make Guuci.

George Miller initially wanted a mo-cap CGI Justice League movie like Polar Express (god no), it had a shit cast of nobodies, it would have come out the same year as The Dark Knight and paled in comparison, and it would have been a JL movie without any build-up. Would have been a disaster user.

as compared to the loud borefests that were BvS, Man of Steel and SS?

Isn't that what Batman Begins was? A lot of elements of the book and even characters taken straight from it, even the film's ending was the exact same.

Did it still have that incredibly stupid plot about some gas bomb trying to destroy the city?

sure did

I think he's been scouting locations recently, so we actually might get it.

Lynch's Dune is pretty damn good. I feel like Jodoworsky would've focused too much on the imagery instead of the story. He even admits to having never read the book. Call me cynical, but it would've been all bread, with no meat.

I work with a bunch of idiots who actually think Beetlejuice 2 is coming out next year. They don't get the concept of "development hell."

>But, there's a poster for it on the internet!

Kill me, please.

>we will never get the Hobbit we deserved, made by Del Toro

Sam Raimi's Batman '89.
Sam Raimi's The Shadow.

Tim Burton's Superman Lives.

Guillermo del Toro's At The Mountain's Of Madness.

Paul Verhoeven and Arnold Schwarzenegger's Crusade.

Vega Brothers

Did people not read All Star Batman & Robin or see Frank Miller's cinematic abortion of The Spirit?

>a JL movie without any build-up
I don't see a problem with this idea itself.
I think you don't need a Superman or Batman movie to lead up to the fucking Justice League. People know these characters more than the Avengers. There was no need to copy Marvel. And the shitty Snyder films leading up to hissure to be awful JL film just made things worse.

Mel's Viking epic

Came to post this. Read the script a year ago, the film would've been the greatest thing ever.

>BRUCE cracks a gentle smile.

> MUGGER #2 (CONT'D)
> We'll take care of you mister. But
> you have to give us a tip.
> (holds out hand)
> NOW! MONEY!

> One of the assailants becomes impatient and SHOVES BRUCE.

> There is no delay in cause and effect. The shove sparks an
> almost ORGASMIC release of RAW, PENT UP VIOLENCE from BRUCE.

> HE EXPLODES - CRACK! CRACK! CRACK! CRACK!

> BRUCE PUNCHES MUGGER #1 in the CHEST, rapid-fire brutal, RIBS CRUNCH.
