Ultimate Edition of course. Flaws >editing is bad, it's obvious they cut lots of material and paste the remaining pieces together >unnecessary nightmare sequences >telling the story by tv programs(that happens a lot in this movie) >Doomsday was a bad idea but I'd be ok with it if CG wasn't that ugly >lots of plotholes >SkeletonWoman >Lex Zuckerberg
Even with all these flaws I love this film and I think we need the original 7 hours cut.
It was good. Batman giving up on saving the world from superman because their moms share a name was stupid tho
Xavier Sullivan
>Superman can hear everyone from anywhere, unless it's his mother How can you tell me he needed Batmans help and Batman just knew where to find her? He didn't even tell Sups where she was because they needed Batman scenes I can go on and on because all these plotholes are insane
Wyatt Smith
Actually the first hour of the ultimate cut was decent other than that retarded part where Batman hangs in the corner in plain sight. It still goes to shit though. There was nothing that could have saved trying to shove TDKR, DoS, and then Wonderwoman, and then JLA set up into one movie. A master writer couldn't have done it, let alone David S Goyer.
I do give points for the ultimate cut at least giving some back story to the desert village set-up though. If you had cut this movie into three movies it actually would have been doable.
1. Batman vs Superman 2. Death of Superman 3. Justice League: Trinity
Dylan Johnson
>unnecessary knight are sequences Nope. They were setting up for justice league and I knew exactly where they were headed after seeing it. Don't give a fuck about faggot audiences who don't read the comics who didn't get it. >lots of plot holes Real descriptive faggot. Like what ?
Leo Johnson
My favourite one is how Batman's plan was to go out in his big robot suit and booby trapped place and shine his Batsignal in the sky, and then just assumed Superman, who had disappeared from Metropolis at this pont, would come to it. He assumed that with all the other huge shit going on, Superman would still care about some vigilante in Gotham or bother going to where the light was being shone.
The only reason Superman showed up is because Lex made him go to the signal. Coincidentally Lex and Batman unfurled their Superman plots on the same night. Otherwise Batman would have just stood there all night looking up to the sky expecting Superman to give a fuck about him right now or even know that Batman wanted to fight right now based on shining the Batsymbol into the sky.
Justin Jones
>How can you tell me he needed Batmans help and Batman just knew where to find her?
Are you retarded?
Andrew Cook
Explain that shit then
Parker Nelson
Batfleck was great but hopefully we see more of Bruce Wayne later on.
Lincoln Bell
Nigger I am talking about the Man-Bat nightmares. Also >nightmares >discussions on TV mediocre storytelling ways.
We didn't need a desert village set-up.Just the Metropolis destruction from MoS was enough for people and Batman to judge Superman.
I'm not that moron.
Samuel Cruz
>Real descriptive faggot. Like what ? Not OP but this And also Lex's retarded plan. He hates Kryptonians existing, so he decides that he's going to try making another Kryptonian that can rampage around and fuck shit up, which he had no means of controlling so presumably he just thought it'd rampage forever. He is able to do this because the Kryptonian ship for whatever reason has a "create a giant monster" function. And of course he planned to unleash Doomsday all along, regardless of what happened between Batman and Superman.
Furthermore why exactly did Lex think Batman, a random vigilante, would be capable of killing Superman even with the kryptonite? It's not like he knows Batman has created a mech suit to slug it out or has weaponized the kryptonite to a gas.
He seems to just be angry Batman stole his kryptonite and sends Superman to go rip his head off out of revenge. Meanwhile he's going to create an unstoppable kryptonian monster for the purpose of killing Superman, at which point there will now just be another kryptonian running around but this new one is functionally retarded. So basically his whole plan is
1. Get kryptonite to kill Superman. 2. Create a giant kryptonian hellbeast. 3. Batman stole my kryptonite, send Superman to go kill him. Luckily Batman decided that tonight of all nights, the same night that I'll be unfurling my master plan and my monster, he wants to fight too so Superman can just fly over to that light. 4. Who gives a fuck what happens with Batman because my monster's ready. 5. Cool.
Levi Johnson
>We didn't need a desert village set-up.Just the Metropolis destruction from MoS was enough for people and Batman to judge Superman.
That's right that entire scene didn't have to happen at all, but to make it at least makes sense it needed what was added in the ultimate cut. They only really had that happen because Lois Lane needed something to do.
Luis Garcia
> >He seems to just be angry Batman stole his kryptonite and sends Superman to go rip his head off out of revenge.
This was part of the plan. Lex even smiles in fucking camera when saw that kryptonite was stolen by Batman
And let's pretend that he does. Then his plan was that Batman would learn about the kryptonite and come steal it, even though he never says a word about Batman until the final battle.
Henry Clark
bats literally told supes to go to the ship instead and he would look for martha
earlier bruce bugged the russians phone and thats how he tracked martha, with the assistance of alfred, it's like you guys just pay attention to the fight scenes
Jose Gonzalez
ive come to love the nightmare single shot scene. yeah there were some odd bits and it wasnt explained or setup at all. but on its own i like it better than the rest of the movie

Lex knows Bruce is Batman and invites him to the fundraiser to align him with his plan. Lex invites Bruce, comments about bringing people together and about Bruce and Clark fighting, and he offers Bruce a look at his Research & Development. Mercy was on the red-carpet waiting for Bruce, kept an eye out for him during the evening, and kept track of him throughout. When Bruce ultimately unlocks the file, you can see Lex’s thinking and planning based on what is in the file and what isn’t.
Despite knowing everything about Superman and being obsessed with Superman, there is nothing directly about Superman in the file. There are specifications for Kryptonite (which Batman calls up and uses while forging his weapons) and there are files which resolve the mystery of the White Portuguese (which allows Batman to plan the theft of the Kryptonite). There is nothing in the files about Batman, despite confirmation at the end that Lex knows the secret identity. There are, however, files about other metahumans who might follow in Superman’s footsteps if he isn’t stopped. The file package primes Batman to take down Superman just as Lex intends.
If Batman fails to steal the files, Lex had offered a legitimate opportunity to access them if their corporations should team-up and share information as a fall-back contingency.

If this is what they intended to do, shame on them.Literally BBC Sherlock-tier writing.

>And let's pretend that he does. Then his plan was that Batman would learn about the kryptonite and come steal it, even though he never says a word about Batman until the final battle.
So yeah then it's just retarded in a different way pretending that Lex's plan was to get Batman to try to kill Superman even though he doesn't know Batman hates Superman or is planning to kill him, doesn't know Batman is going to go out and turn on the Bat signal the same night his monster is ready, and doesn't know if a street-level vigilante who's only known for ghosting into human trafficking rings and beating the shit out of some armed thugs has the technological capacity to weaponize kryptonite better than he himself with all of his infinite resources and lab workers and support can. He doesn't know that Batman's not just coming to steal the kryptonite to make sure Lex can't have it, because it's an illegal import of dangerous material, and Batman targets those who break the law and do dangerous things.
Even if you headcanon that Lex wanted Batman to steal it it still winds up being as broken as if he didn't.
