>when does the singing start?
Things plebs say
Things *normies* say
>Its just noise
>I mean, it would be good if I was born in the 70s
>that's over 6 minutes user, I don't want to listen to the same song that long
>haha how high were they when they made this?
>this is depressing
These two are just the worst
>whats this hipster music
This shit kills me, I get this 9/10 times I share music. SORRY NOT EVERYTHING CAN BE FUCKING HAPPY BY PHARRELL
Listen to this album stoned thank me later xD
>This is terrible. How can anyone enjoy this?
Fuck these kind of plebs
>wtf this is just a dude whispering over drums i like music with more of a melody this is so edgy lol
when i showed my friend spiderland
>wtf this is just a dude whispering over drums i like music with more of a melody this is so edgy lol
when I showed my friend 17 - xxxtentacion
>"This sounds so pleb."
>what do you mean aphex twin is overrated shit
>its just screaming
>judas priest
>its too a-tonal
>every track sounds the same
>I enjoy rap in my music :^)
>looooool this is so old
>but the singing isn't even in english
>blue album and pinkerton arw not unlistenable garbage
...
>it has no rhythm
>song actually has no rhythm
>"Why are we listening to children music user?"
>Penguin Cafe Orchestra
We've broke up shortly after.
>lol nice dubstep nerd
>its frankie knuckles
>tfw gf said NMH was too depressing
>break-up
>now she posts NMH songs on social media now and guys add her and comment on her music taste which is all bands i made her listen to
Holy shit, I'm so sorry if this actually happened to you
not him but here i've heard people call literally anything with distorted synths dubstep
justice, most dnb, all is dubstep to them
then when i show them actual uk style dubstep they call it instrumental hip hop
i dont talk to people about music anymore
Yeah, I've had this happen to me before too. Dubstep replaced Techno as the "I don't know shit about electronic music but I need to be derisive" go-to genre to call anything.
I've gotten people who utterly hated dubstep into it by introducing them to 2005-2009 era UK Dubstep and explaining how Americans destroyed the genre.
Could you recommend something? I haven't tried much in this genre.
Sure, here's a playlist I made of mostly UK Dubstep and mostly from the period I mentioned before:
youtube.com
Still might not be your thing but you should immediately notice that not every song is built around MUH DROP like the direction a lot of American Dubstep artists tend to go in.
Didn't link properly before this should do it
youtube.com
This makes me shudder.
stop sharing music with normal people, take your heads out of your asses and pick up some fucking social skills you fucking children
>bro these guys must have been on acid or something haha xD
>This is too weird for me, can we switch to something else?
It was fucking Radiohead, OK Computer era Radiohead.
Thanks user!
why is it so aggressive?
>2017
>still associating with plebs
Made the right choice
This actually sounds very nice
back in 2013 my friend was going to a festival where death grips were playing. I told him to go check them out because I thought he liked a few tracks
afterwards I keenly asked if saw them and he must have thought I was joking because he said "yeah haha they're so retarded"
Not that anyone here goes outside their houses much, but if you hate plebs don't ever go to a bar. Lowest of the low retards there
Your friend sounds cooler than you desu
Did she talk shit about Perpetuum Mobile ?
Just checked out the band, sounds awesome
She said that 3-4 tracks into the 'Music from the Penguin Cafe'.
I absolutely love the first album. I stumbled upon it quite some time ago here, on Sup Forums.
>dude no ones heard of these guys
>dude radiohead is so old
>choa isn't a musician and she got surgery
>wtf who likes banjo in 2017
>doc watson
wtf i thought bluegrass was not """ärtsy""""" its pure fun and happiness singing about farms and towns
>lol, user, this sounds like elevator music
FUCKING JUST
hadn't heard them before user, thanks for showing me something so lovely
>This is weird
were you playing floural shoppe
Coltrane...
>and your other gun...
>this is more like a series of sounds than music
> do drugs with douchebag jarhead veteran
> he has a fucking sublime tatto across his back
> drop acid with him one night
> playing bob marley or rancid or something shitty
> he leaves to go smoke a joint
> trying to paint but annoyed with current tunes
> put on Coil - Musik to Play in the Dark
> he comes back and is talking to me but I'm focused on Coil and art
> 4 hrs in now
> fuck, I'm tripping hard
> he won't stop dabbing
> starts to complain that the music i have on is freaking him out
> ignore him
> user this music is weird
> user i dont like this
> user can i put on something happy
> no. I paid for the acid, i pick the music
> tries talking to me about the government or something
> annoyed that he's talking over Coil
> can't drive home because of snow and im on acid
> cant move rooms because of his alcoholic roommates who already make me uncomfortable when im sober
> put on Throbbing Gristle - Journey through a Body
> user, i need to leave, I'm this music is freaking me out
> k bye
> he leaves without his shirt and pants in a fucking blizzard
> switch to music for airports when he leaves
> finish a few paintings
> coming down after another few hours
> he shows back up and puts on bob marley
> decide im sober enough to go home
I say this all the time. Especially about pop punk, mumble rap, post grunge, numetal, dubstep, etc.
> have qt industrial bf
> enjoy sharing music with eachother even when it's not industrial or neofolk
I don't know the feeling user.
Yikes. Radiohead is extremely accessible. But i heard that a lot from people i used to hang out with
>is playing Fripp and Eno's Evening Star
"when do they play other notes"
>light screaming or sort of shouting
>"is this screamo?"
>this song is good because the lyrics is about love
>this song is good because the lyrics is about love or deception
>this song is good because the lyrics don`t have an obvious meaning
>this song is good because it isn't catchy
>this song is good because it's slow paced
or the worst of them all:
>this song is good because it makes me feel sad
>I LOVED those singles of Pacific daydream na na ana na na nana
He's right
>why dont you listen to music people have actually heard of
it was highway star
christ
>show some friend Buyer's Market
>"wtf user is this metal?"
>showing anyone buyer's market
What the fuck is wrong with you?
Kill that fucker
>I can't concentrate without any words
>I don't think songs which have people screaming is real music
>I know for sure I'm not gonna like this cause it's *genre*
>I will stop listening the moment I hear something I don't like
>isn't rock and metal the same thing?
And yes I have heard this IRL, the guy thought all rock and metal was audibly a mixture of Black and Death metal
> he leaves without his shirt and pants in a fucking blizzard
kek
>show friend a 5+ minute
>"nah user this just isnt for me"
>hasn't even listened to a minute of it
*5+ minute song
>grimes is not a great artist
>that's too calm, user put something HYPED for us
>user, stop the music
No.
this is true for many experimental albums though
>play something LIT man
>I only listen for the beat
>lol this is really boring and depressing can you play some bangers?
I played Deftones.
>They must have been so high when they recorded this XD
this is my life as a salsa player
Favourite songs from an artist are all singles.
>when are you gonna shoot up the school?
i showed my friend In Utero
>woah user i dont have that kind of time for just one song
>puts on a playlist of hardcore that all sounds exactly the same
"What the fuck, user? This is so racist."
It was Johnny Rebel.
I’m a keen songwriter. I’ve never achieved jack shit whilst high, just a sense of false confidence and wanky pseudo-intellectual lyrics.
>It needs to have good bass
>Bass sounds like a fucking jet engine
>i cant even hear the lyrics, who thought this was a good idea :)??
>its just eminem mom please stop beating me
>lol i could have made this
This
>This shit kills me, I get this 9/10 times I share music. SORRY NOT EVERYTHING CAN BE FUCKING HAPPY BY PHARRELL
>put on iron maiden
>"uh i don't like screamo stuff user"
>clearly not even paying attention to music
>"user these all sound the same"
Your mouth and your asshole sound the same, you fucking cunt.
