Help me find my taste, been listening to only stuff rec here lately, mostly Sup Forums core. How do I make my taste more original?

Just think about what did you prefer on your listenings, find out what genre it is and search for less known records which are similar

For example, if you liked Slint, check out for the 90's math rock / post-hardcore american scene

If you liked Slowdive's Souvlaki, look for the Shoegaze scene

Sorry I'm not familiar with detroit techno so I won't be able to rec you. Good taste tho.

so how often do you tip your fedora?

jammin gerald - factory trax

branch out and focus on individual genres rather than taking the most critically acclaimed albums from every genre and not exploring them deeper, build a preference for what you like

mark stewart - learning to cope with cowardice

Rec something that sounds like a happier version of "the glow pt. 2"
AЛ-90 - КOД-915913
trisomie 21 - chapter iv
peter jefferies - the last challenge in a dull world
witching hour - exhumation
super besse - 63610*
rym/sonemic is made for it

woop woop

felicia atkinson - a readymade ceremony

by staying off Sup Forums for a bit. explore last fm and rym then come back

storm & stress - s/t

New fag here, what a website where I can make one of these?

not topsters anymore because i just took it down. we didnt have time to work on it and i think recent php updates probably broke it completely. sorry but it has been a good 5 year run. www.neverendingchartrendering.org seems to do a great job anyway.
