Didn't you hear? Film is dead.
Digital movies are dead as well, but you knew that.
Pic related actually deals with some pretty deep themes. It may seem like just a dumb film, but it explores some interesting Nietzschean ideas

In my experience people tend to view vague=deep which is rather disappointing. Depth should be able to be percieved even in a plot-driven film or one where the motivations of characters are still clear.
>Nietzschean ideas
No he wanted movies that AREN'T pretentious, pseudo intellectual, and superficial.
>About half of Black Mirror

Both sides are cancer. A true film fan can find merit and enjoyment in both "dumb" movies and "artsy" ones.
I can't take anybody that posts that pic seriously anymore.
