When I was first introduced to them I believed that Surfer Rosa was light-years ahead of everything else they'd ever done. Then many seasons passed and I relistened to all the albums and decided that Doolittle was actually the one that was far superior to Surfer Rosa and those 2 shitty albums they made after it. Then many more seasons passed and now I know for a fact that Bossanova is the greatest Pixies album of all time and Trompe Le Monde is a piece of shit.
Probably next year I'll think Trompe Le Monde is one of the greatest albums ever recorded or something.

I honestly don't know any more. They're all so good. I think at this point it's just based on my mood. Come on Pilgrim is atmospheric, Surfer Rosa is emotional, Doolittle is casual, Bossanova is chill, Trompe Le Monde is cool. They're all amazing.
