If Jean-Luc Picard was born and raised in France in 2305, why isn't he Muslim?
Mudslimes only live in cities, Picard was from a village
Obviously, in the various wars that occurred between our time and the period in which Star Trek begins, the UK invaded France, obviously because they weren't part of a European Union. Brexit made this more inevitable, but the invasion theory always occurred to me to be the most obvious one.
2040: the UK renounces all ties with Europe and declares itself a protectorate of God-Emperor Trump's American Empire
2080: the entirety of the EU has been overrun by muslims
2090: the last white person in France is stoned to death for not attending her daily gang-rape
2091: the UK enacts article 51 and nukes the entirety of Europe
2300: UK settlers establish new France in the European wasteland
This is explained perfectly in the comics.
Despite Picard having been born in France, he had a distinct English accent. According to TNG: "Code of Honor", by the 24th century, French was considered an archaic language. Picard remembered French children's songs like "Frère Jacques," as mentioned in TNG: "Disaster" and played by him on the Ressikan flute in TNG: "The Inner Light". He also occasionally cursed "merde" in times of stress, such as in "The Last Outpost" and "Elementary, Dear Data", and spoke at least basic French ("11001001").
Well if you're serious do tell.
Read them yourself brah.

KEK that was great.
Peobably the same reason aliens can speak English.
...
English is probably the universal earth language desu
Also he has an affinity for Brit stuff like, tea and Shakespeare
hes like emma watson with the books and the french thing
so he's like a weeb, but for british culture?
that's the joke
despite thinking he's gods gift to actors whom TV is too low brow for him, he couldn't even manage properly portraying a frenchman
or couldn't even do an american accent which would make more sense if he learned his english at the academy..
>According to TNG: "Code of Honor", by the 24th century, French was considered an archaic language
kek
>yfw you realise that STD is going to have both Muslims and fags
shit on Roddenberry AND Berman at the same time huh?
>French was considered an archaic language
Earth's cultures all blended at some point. The reason the ethic characters go on and on about their heritage is cause all they know about it is from fucking hologram stories. Fucking gumbo, fucking native american spirit boxing
You're totally on to something
Look at how all Chakotay knows about his culture is from an Armenian con artist who wrote fraudulent books
No one would had liked a show with a frenchie as the MC.
>despite thinking he's gods gift to actors whom TV is too low brow for him
Why didn't Patrick Stewart ever say this?
It's specifically mentioned that by the time TNG starts the world has grown out of the childish need for religion. So no muslims. Or Christians or anything else.
That's why earth is shown as a utopia.
>americans BTFO by their own science fiction.
