Pure kino. Like John Wick if he had autism

Pure kino. Like John Wick if he had autism.

i saw this tonight and can't believe how fucking stupid it was. i can't believe nobody warned me about what a clusterfuck this movie was.

felt like watching 8 different movies at once- the jk simmons boring cop/fbi drama, a movie about autism, anna kendrick teenage romcom, and an action movie none of which were satisfying or good in any way

and then the "oh the dude i was attacking was my brother and now we're going to sit on the floor making quips" shit was when i fucking lost it

can't believe people actually enjoyed this utter garbage

It was lame. John Wick was way better.

>those last 20 minutes

Fucking loved this movie.

pleb

Should I go see this with my dad this weekend?

I liked it and I respect your opinion even though you're wrong

you just made me not want to see it.

It's completely outrageous full retard

I mean the whole movie was kinda dumb throwback action stuff but the climax reveal AND the epilogue reveal, holy shit it was 100% unintentional comedy

Yes. It's a great father/son movie.

>I have to finish your taxes. I HAVE TO FINISH

Are you being sarcastic?

You're correct that it could have been more focused, but that's about it.

The other characters, like the brother, the female accountant, the Treasury Dept. guys, are all there just to tell the story of The Accountant himself. Although to be fair, he's not going to tell us himself.

The ending is a bit preachy. As a moderate autist, I became mostly functional by working with the theater director I had in high school. It was more akin to the teachings of the old man in prison than anything else. I still loath those special ed camps like The Accountant was in at the beginning. They miss the point that conscious self-determinism the best way to control your own life.

family is a big theme, so yes

I saw it with my uncle we had a fuckin blast go see it

Manchester by the sea starring his brother is a superior kino

No, I liked the way it didn't make any judgements on how his father raised him.

the scene with the Malaysian combat instructor is a bit one-note and harsh.
the scene where they're in the car under the overpass is great however.

overall pretty good handling of it.

He was speaking Indonesian and the newspaper was the Jakarta times. But he did look kind of chinese so who knows

I'm probably wrong. I was going off memory.

And if john wick was complete shit

hey now, it was a pretty decent music video. I don't even like Marilyn Manson.
