this right now
never understood the appeal of listening to spooky/negative shit when you're stoned.
Harsh noise
You're fucking retarded
youtube.com
because Electric Wizard fucking rocks man
just because it's heavy doesn't make it negative
90% of this era of Waits is just basic rock and blues chord progressions with slightly fucky instrumentation and performances. not spooky at all to me. I'm in a stage right now where I'm either listening to prog or Willie Nelson, so Tom Waits kind of fits right in the middle of that.
the sound of plants growing
that album isnt nearly as spooky as swordfishtrombones or comus, dude. not even comparable
...
electric wizard's lyrics and vibe man, just a lil spooky
Everything except country and rap
i love electric wizard, just cant get into it stoned. the lyrics and overall sound are too negative for me to have a good time.
]
again, love tom waits but his sound is so tinny and often associated with spooky shit like murder and insanity. if the whole album sounded like jockey full of bourbon i'd be fine but like, 9th and Hennepin, Cemetery Polka, etc
I usually like to listen to random genres from around the world. Currently this

I mean that's like being spooked by the Wu-Tang Clan, it's dark on the surface but you get sucked into their world of bass and fuzz and your head starts bobbing and your goosebumps start going when they peak goddam
I know it isn't for everyone but just typing this out has made me put it on
Only Wu song I listen to high is Cream, maybe can it be all so simple, or ghost's king of new york.
Wu Tang is more punk-esque, if you know what I mean. There's lots of aggression, makes me wanna beat someone up.
you aren't supposed to party to fucking electric wizard, what are you, a normie?
The true patrician
The whole point of the thread is music to listen to high, my dude
...
I listened to this after smoking an eighth with all my friends, that was a great ride
yeah, if you only go under the influence at parties you are a fuckin normie my dude
...
this album is fucking 10/10 high for me
>implying I'm ever sober
FOH
DRIP DRIP
this, walking around alone at night w/earbuds, on a really good edible
shit black metal on apple earpods or harsh noise on loudspeaks
Could this album be considered an intended musical meme?
Electronic and jazz for me. Anything angular like post-hardcore shit ruins my high. Some if the weirder side of post-punk is great while high too.
I'm did a bunch if coke and played the stooges and modest mouse at the bar with my friends last weekend and the drug greatly enhanced the music there

Late 80s early 90s hip hop.

Pharcyde
De La Soul
Beastie Boys
hahaha is this little goblin supposed to be cute? i am laughing hard
this.
Mutants with shit taste in music that only like sad heavy shit will only listen to their music high anyway instead of listening to music that is actually DANK when you're high. I don't get it either, it's not enjoyable or interesting when I'm high it's just boring and kills the mood.
DUDE
SICK
RIFFS
(memes aside I really like this album)

It's a stereotype, but yeah it's indisputably one of the best.
