The Abominable Snowmen
>It's a "Doctor Who battles an alien that looks like a massive penis/vagina/both episode"
Image of the Fendahl was really good, desu. Weird how dark it got when they were trying to make the show lighter at the time. I think they originally intended to show somebody shooting themselves, but instead chose to make it happen offscreen, which is 100 times more effective anyway. Accidental whokino was made at that point.

Hmm.
Looks like they'll go to an alien planet at some point, maybe the finale. That'd be cool.
The problem with Manning is that he has only one style, for years now, and it's obviously one or two Photoshop plugins.
Looks like things will get even more VNA level from here.

QUÉ WHAT
factionparadox.wikia.com
Faction Paradox has some gay canon laws.
Our reference rule is much better.
More homosexual than ever before.
> Nothing which bears a Doctor Who logo, or is otherwise judged to be a part of the DWU by the TARDIS Datacore, counts.
What if TDC suddenly decided all Faction Paradox was canon?
I'd be overjoyed.
Instead of this retarded division which means the FP wiki is a barren wasteland that barely even gets edited, we could go back to having a normal, rational wiki.
You just know...
There's very little info in that wiki, even for basic pure-FP lore.
So with Faction Paradox, is it just read everything in publication order? I'm not sure I agree with their "no dr who allowed" canon.
I disregard any of their thoughts about canon, as any proper Cousin would.
I think some Faction Paradox fans are afraid that the connection to Doctor Who might "cheapen" the Faction brand; like people will stay away from FP if they think it's associated with Who, or worse, that Doctor Who is "lesser" than Faction Paradox, which could become proper sci fi if given a chance.
I'm not sure if they're wrong, but I feel that attitude devalues Doctor Who overall.
That ain't immigrant
Indeed, the real immigrant should stand up.
But seriously, what's /who/ with you?
Ok, canon discarded and initiating "Man the fuck up and infosorb everything" mode.
All is clear
good
WOW. Sting is a guest.
Gotta watch this one.
technically that canon-policy allows Magrs's phoenix court trilogy to be included on the wiki, which the tardis wikia refuses to cover. Same with the fifth Virgin Decalog, which introduced the characters Reginald Forthman and Sister Lim who later showed up in Faction Paradox's Optimism's Flame. And of course the Obverse Book of Detectives would need to be included as well, with one short story in there serving as a prequel for Faction Paradox - Against Nature.
They really didn't think that through, did they?
'Nice girl' being totally corrupted.
Looks GOAT
>More homosexual
Reminder
Yeah, that plotline's definitely never been done millions of times before.
True, but the plotline "nice girl gets corrupted through influence of a shadow creature from beyond the stars" is a nice sci fi twist.
I'm ready.
Can't stop the Faction from spreading.
Still hot.
>True, but the plotline "nice girl gets corrupted through influence of a shadow creature from beyond the stars" is a nice sci fi twist.
Did the main shadowguy feel Ram's cock then?
Yeah, it's still hot.
Don't know. Haven't seen the episode yet.

COMFY CLASS
objective Class character rankings
the black one >>>> fady >>>> april >>>>>> the gay one
More specifically, it's not clear how much sensory information April and the Shadow King share. From the books and next ep synopsis, we know that April's anger is connected to the shadow, but it's not clear how connected they are.
>Tanya over Ram
>Quil not even on the list
>not realizing that Matteuz is also a main character
TOO EASY POSHO!
...
i'm like 10 minutes into the first episode dude. if i had to put quill on the list she'd be at the bottom though. she can't act and neither can the gay guy
>10 minutes into first episode
>making objective rankings
If someone did that with Doctor Who, they'd be ranking:
Barbara > Ian > Susan >policeman
What I'm saying is, you have to watch at least up to Episode 2 to get real rankings.
they're school play tier actors. that's not going to suddenly change when i start watching episode 2. fortunately tanya, ram and april make up for it by being good or at least bearable
Actually, Quill gets a pretty good scene of development in the third episode. However, I agree with you that the main trio are good, excusing some clunky exposition here or there in the first episode (and that's more Ness's and the director's fault).
This was Tanya's actress's first acting job out of school.

Someone once requested a fic of One, Clara, and Arnold Schwarzenegger fighting sentient ice cream. I plan to finish it one day. Anyway, that was a pic made for the fic.
I look forward to it
Why did Moffat go to complete shit Series 6 onwards?
Why did RTD go to complete shit Series 2 onwards?
Just watched the Virgin Publishing Myth Makers. Beautiful.
RTD was consistently okayish/ somewhat cringe throughout.
Moffat wrote some great scripts for 9 and 10, made the fun and refreshing Series 5 and then started consistently dropping the ball. Series 6 and onwards is mostly dissapointing, convoluted and boring.
Remember all the Christmas episode? Remember the River song stuff in Series 6? Do you know what happened at Trenzalore and how it resolved? Of course you don't.
Why do people give Moffat so much leeway but constantly shit on RTD when he wasn't even that bad?

Why did Doctor Who go to complete shit season 4 onwards?

Rented it off Vimeo on demand for £2.50.

>I can upload it somewhere if you like.
If it isn't too much effort, that'd be lovely.
I remember one time when a Moffag told me that it was unfair for me to compare recent Who to Season 25 and 26.
I was arguing that it was remarkable that even as the show producers and writers were under so much pressure, they were still able to produce interesting, memorable and fun episodes. Recent Who hasn't done this.
They said it was unfair that I make this comparison because "every one know that they were some of the best episodes the show has produced."
Cheers, man.
/who/ agrees with you user.
We appreciate the best of Who, but will always be critical of the worst.
