gonna record something i wrote today tomorrow, actually very satisfied with it so i can't wait to record.
love your vocals, smooth instrumentals too.
nice synths with a unique beat. Very straight monotonous vocals are actually quite enjoyable with this aesthetic.
nice beat, could use some work, especially in the sample dpt (the AY AY is a little ehh), otherwise i like it

>Do you perform live?
Nope, Skopje doesn't really have a noise scene, plus I don't really have equipment for performing anything really. Maybe in the future, who knows.
Anyway, really like the vocals and the overall aesthetic of the project, definitely something I gravitate towards. Hopefully we'll hear more from you.
Thank you! I appreciate that. We play out live about twice a month. Here's our bandcamp.

Reply to me with one song and I will give it an in depth review on here, critic your mix, etc. Sorta how soundcloud threads use to be back in the day.
There is to many people in this thread to do it for every person, that's why I'm asking you to reply to me. This way the people who post and leave don't get anything.
i mean if you want to hit me with some mixing or composition help, I wouldn't deny it ()
especially considering my live shows are picking up and I want to make sure I'm doing my best in front of the people
can I do one for you in return?
>modular synth analog
returning all feedback and commenting on your clouds
alright hit me: the track you linked works really for me in the beginning because i think you create a great atmosphere and a great sonic space through your mixing, but the stuff you put into after that (the saw and the sped-up vox) didn't work for me as well as musical setpieces, because they didn't really add much to what was already there - neither was particularly melodic, and neither really interacted with what was behind them. i feel like you'd do better to try and work with what you have by 20 seconds in, develop it, gradually change the sounds, add percussion, gradually make the patterns you're working with more complex, until a melody emerges naturally. obv you're a much better producer than i am, so i can't critique the mix too much, but i did feel like the claps on every beat at around 2:30 were pushed too far back in the mix, and so the role they were playing was limited
No need to review my stuff if you don't want to, I was just in the mood to do this.
I think your song definitely has its moments, and I'm digging your lyrics. I did find the song repetitive. I think it could benefit greatly from some variety. Go listen to some of your favorite songs, one thing you'll always notice that they have is tension and release, even if its not in your face like a drop. I think if you changed the beat up a bit, added some pads, anything really, you could achieve this. Right now it sounds like one giant verse.
I think you did a great job of selecting good drum samples for your song. Not sure how I feel about your guitar synth melody, not really my style, but that is more person preference desu. I did dig the radio effect you had on your voice, it fit well in the song, but again, I think you should sprinkle it in rather than use it most of the song. I'm not sure about you, but when I listen to music, there are those bits and pieces of the song that really get stuck in my head, if that piece is the entire song, I would easily forget about it, don't over do it. I would also like to see a change up in your flow as well, this would help with the song, again, sounding like one giant verse.
Ok, so I did give a lot of criticism here, but don't let that detract you. This wasn't meant say your song is shit. It's not my style, but I can definitely see people jiving with this.

I like the build up in the song, and I like how the drums dance in the background in the beginning of the song. One thing I will mention about this song is, that while atmospheric, it didn't pull me out of my body like a lot of ambient/drone music I like does does. I'm a big fan of Tim Hecker, when I listen to someone like him, I feel like I'm surrounded by the music. But I think the composition is there, and I think it's the mix that is holding you back. Right now it sounds thin. You really need to try to achieve a wider sounding mix, maybe try looking into using Waves S1 Imager? Look up some tutorials on that plugin and learn how to place things in the stereo field, as right now it sounds like its coming straight at me as opposed to surrounding me. Panning can be your friend.
well that's very nice of you, thank you for bringing back the spirit of old Sup Forums
I appreciate what you've said and I'll take it into account - thanks for saying it in a way that's practical!

That's probably cuz that 808 you're using is way too distorted and high in pitch. There's also a huge difference in volume between the quiet parts and the loud ones. Heaphones lie a lot too...
