Why does this team not get shit for being stacked?

Why does this team not get shit for being stacked?

I don't give a fuck if they don't have le 73 wins, 4 All Stars, and unanimous MVP.

yeah it's really disappointing they only won by 46

>stacked

their team is full of unwanted old roleplayers. they have 2 allstars in kyrie and lebron and 1 borderline 1 in love.

Lebron just makes them all better.

1) Cleveland is a meme city. It's like watching a retard win something.

2) Warriors are more stacked, especially this season.

3) Lebron is unironically the GOAT and watching the GOAT play is great.

This, LeBron is the team. They would struggle to make the playoffs without him.

Cavs are 32 million over the salary cap limit. Next highest is LAC at 20 million over. Looks a lot like buying a stacked team to me

>buying
Cavs didn't buy a single one of their stars, unless you count Lebron coming back "buying" him.

>Why does this team not get shit for being stacked?
They do, tho. Read those comments.

No Lebron = Kyrie and Love get swept by the Raptors, if they win Celtics squash them in 5-6 games

Lebron buffed everyone in the team

LeBron makes em look stacked. Take him out theyre a 7 seed and kyries and loves body both breakdown from all the minutes and pressure

they would get destroyed by the 89 pistons

and those 89 pistons would have ended ledouche's career

>butthurt leltics fans

Lel

This is because GS is still on the initial contracts for Klay and draymon and Steph.

Once all three of those get paid their actual worth they will break all salary cap limit records or have to break up the squad

No, no they wouldn't,

Go look up Jordan's postseason am stats and come back

They can max contract all three of them via Bird rights

But Durant is another story since he will only be a Warrior for like 2 seasons and wouldn't qualify for Bird rights

how so

they would get destroyed by any one of the bulls 90's teams.

though the last 3 teams easily would have broke lebron, those were brutal defensive teams, statistically better than the 89 pistons.

>Bird rights
Well fuck GS is gonna save money.

But that still doesn't negate the fact that they are as "stacked" as anyone else if not more so.

Contract loophole doesn't make the players worth any less

No they wouldn't. They play in the East. They'd just be Wizards/Celtics/Raptors tier.

>But that still doesn't negate the fact that they are as "stacked" as anyone else if not more so.

built through the draft though. -ignore durant-

The whole core of the GS warriors were drafted by the warriors, and they're all mid first to late 2nd round picks. there isn't a no.1 on their roster (ignoring durant)

The cavs are built through free agency and trades.

They would still win the east even without lebron.

LeBron, Kyrie and TT are all Cavs draft picks and the most important players in the team. That argument doesn't work against the Cavs m8

This is actually true. Trips even confirmed. If teh Cavs had to drop two starters, they'd be JR and Love, unfortunately. TT is an elite up-tempo center and Kyrie is almost on LeBron's level for capability as his position although he's much less experienced and consistent. When he plays well though, he's fucking unguardable.

>(ignoring durant)
That's the whole point.

Don't hate the players hate the games

>(ignoring durant)
Nigga kill yourself

imagine if they hadn't traded andrew wiggins for kevin LULve

not even inept management can stop tha kang

Wiggins would be worthless on the Cavs, he's ball dominant and he plays the same position as Lebron. Love has been great these playoffs

Getting Love was probably Lebron's idea. He telegraphed it in his return letter.

Jordan played in an era where zone defense was ILLEGAL. And for a player of Jordans caliber , it made it easy for him to win 1v1 because that's all teams could use.

Imagine if Lebron only had 1v1 match ups and if you tried to shadow or play zone on him you suddenly get called a foul on you.

The bulls would struggle with scoring since szone defense is legal and they wouldnt know how to adapt.

you stupid nigger nba teams occasionaly play zone for like one minute at a time max cause everybody can shoot the ball and dissect the zone no problem. zone is only used to switch it up for a brief period and hope the other team is cold

>Tristan is an average player not even top 10 in the leave
>JR is an alcoholic who is a streakie shooter at best
>Korver is old af and played with fucking Iverson in Philly
>Love is a stat padder and not even top 5 PF
>Kyrie is good
>LeBron is GOAT

No one is that great on that team besides Kyrie and Bron.

>Kyrie and Love get swept by the Raptors, if they win Celtics squash them in 5-6 games
Can you tell me a team in the East with the star power of Kyrie+Love? This is not counting their over the top bench that could probably end 6 in the East on their own

>1 on their roster (ignoring durant)
Durant was picked second behind Oden

so what are they supposed to do, purposely not get good players?

But they have a shit ton of three point shooter dumbass. Remember how afraid everyone was of the rockets? The Cavs are the rockets in that Lebron is harden but maxed out and the Cavs actually hit their three point shots when Lebron passes to them. Not even the Warriors can shoot this well from three for a sustained period in the playoffs

If you watch the game, when Lebron has the ball, look at how half the defenders are staring at him and stand halfway in the paint waiting for him to drive. That would've been illegal defense. You couldn't have a guy standing midway between 2 players. Everyone had to be tight up against their guy all the time, OR they had to go full-on double team. Practically every modern NBA defense violates the old illegal defense rule.

they literally have more all stars and shoot more 3s. the exact reasons people hate the warriors
??????????????????

it still amazes me how they got Kyle Fucking Korver for Mike Dunleavy. wtf

>oh my god im so fucking retarded

dont you have a baseball thread to post in?

The one guy who Lebron couldnt guard when Lebron was at his max for defense was Kobe, and guess who Kobe based his game off of?

Not sure why you changed the subject; maybe you didn't understand. Here's an example of what would have been illegal defense when Jordan played (pic). Allowing players to creep in like this makes it harder for an individual player to score. Lebron ended up passing here.

Durant wasn't number 1.

yes but they call each and every chintzy foul on the defense now, so now players score half of their points from free throws. unless you're steph curry, in which case you get to hack all day.

this kinda delusion is hilarious to me, if you switched the warriors roleplayers for the cav roleplayers everyone would be crying about how stacked the warriors are just the same, honestly go fuck yourself you lebron dick riders

jeez why wouldn't he pass, that's 4 wide-open shots

>The bulls would struggle with scoring since szone defense is legal and they wouldnt know how to adapt.
said no one ever

Nigga you must have not been born when Jordan played. Jordan would put up 50 a night in todays nba. Those bulls would have curb stomped todays nba.

(cont) some nigga posted some video of the pistons playing against Jordan. Look at those again, and remember jordan put up 38-8-8 against that team in that series.

Look again at those hard fouls.

Any one of those would have been a suspension and a fine in today's nba and they STILL couldn't really stop him.

I thought you titled this "illegal defense" as a pun because there are 3 wide open options for 3 in this picture and some celtic lazily trailing the play out of the picture, meaning this is CRIMINAL defense (hence the "illegal" pun)

Look at that "jordan rules" video and tell me how open the lane was in the 80s again. Fuck had lebron made that run against the pistons of the late 80s he would have took an elbow to the face trying to go to the net.

>the city of boston

this. too bad everyone gets nuked for stating the obvious.

>le semantics trickery man

Stop the basketball meme. Ano. Bayan. You are too short, take up boxing

you're wrong they wouldn't make the playoffs without him

The team does get shit. Have you been on /nba/?

>Korver played with Iverson

How is this even an argument? I cannot even process what point you are trying to make outside of just stating a fact.

Of course your desert convict brain can't understand

All you did was reiterate that he's old with no mention towards his skills as if being old makes you worse by default. Kareem won a Finals MVP at age 38.

How the fuck is that illegal defense. They are collapsing on the ball.

They arent on initial contracts to any of those 3.

If you swapped steph and kd for bron and kyrie they would have went 82-0

>muh pistons
You mean the team that Jordan regularly dropped 60 points against?

Cavs here, and they would.

Not sure why not a damn soul has thought to implement LeBron rules. I'm guessing his passing is the problem so this doesn't work as well as on Jordan, but I'm upset we're still not seeing anything like this now. This league is trash right now, and soft.

They would have their whole team foul out if they tried that stuff against lebron or any other star player.

Jordan averaged 30+ against the "bad boy" Pistons.

you started following the NBA in 2015 didn't you?

>You mean the team that Jordan regularly dropped 60 points against?
look at that jordan rules video you asshat

Jordan was that fucking good. LeDouche never had to play against defense like that.

>Not sure why not a damn soul has thought to implement LeBron rules. I'm guessing his passing is the problem so this doesn't work as well as on Jordan, but I'm upset we're still not seeing anything like this now. This league is trash right now, and soft.

part of the reason there is no "lebron" rules is because of the Technical Foul rule. Half of the Jordan rules wouldn't work in today's nba, as it would result in suspensions and a T. The rest of the problem is the handchecking rules are different meaning the whole "rodman" part of the jordan rules would just get today's version of "rodman" fouled out (yes, rodman's defense was LEGAL, in today's nba that type of physical defense is a foul)

so 2/3 of the old piston's jordan rules are fouls, some of which would end in Ts which would lead to players getting kicked out or flat out suspended.

The final problem is LeBron is not a pure scorer on the level of Jordan. He passes out of double teams FAST and with a level of accuracy which would make Magic Johnson proud. Different player, surrounded by a different team. in the 89 season the Bulls were Jordan and a bunch of who? roleplayers. Pippin wasn't great yet, and most of the rest of the team couldn't hit 1 open shot in 3 chances. Triple teaming Jordan was a viable strategy to stopping the bulls because no one else could really be counted on to make the shot. Jordan was notoriously hard on his teammates because as far as he was concerned if he was passing to them they were wide open and should make the shot, something they didn't do with regularity yet in 89.

The reason why the Bulls got past the pistons for their first title was basically because the rest of the team could hit an open jumper, plus he worked on going left so dumars filtering him left no longer slowed him down any, making himself into a basketball god, making the Jordan Rules basically pointless (they still hard fouled him it just didn't stop him, it never did in the first place.)

except ledouche actually passes the ball and has goat tier vision. MJ couldn't muscle his way through traffic where lebron can, but doesn't even need to

>have salary CAP
>you can go over

what is this shit sport wtf

Because the warriors arw even more stacked.

The warriors were expected to win, easily last year. Tgey had the best record of all time and they got beat by the team that played better... as a team. So what did they do?
"Lol lets just sign more all star talent"
Literally the yankees of Basketball. Ask any NBA afficianado, they will tell you it's bad for the sport. There are, what? 5 teams that are at all decent and the rest is trash. This league is in dwaperate need od a more sevwre salary cap.

>ledouche actually passes the ball and has goat tier vision

It wouldn't have helped against those pistons, assuming Lebron was on the 89 bulls. Those bulls were MJ and a bunch of defensive players who couldn't hit an open J. Part of why MJ isn't passing out of that coverage is because they didn't hit open shots when he passed it to them. this was how the bulls finally got past the pistons for their first championship, Scotty Pippin became a great scorer, giving MJ someone to pass to when he got doubled.
