Hard to consider Big L underrated when he made the actual greatest hip hop album of all time.
I just think that he did not get the recognition that he deserved, he was even fired by Columbia Records after Lifestylez ov da Poor and Dangerous was not successful

Ya I kinda feel you on this. Big L is def unheard by A LOT of people these days, it is really surprising. Jay-Z never mentions him really (MAYBE once or twice in the past 3-4 albums he has done?), I think a lot of people focus on life 2pac, Biggie and some other main stream artists from this time. I mean dude, Big L was talking about some HARD shit, real head music for sure, a lot of people never got in to it. One of the best of all time. RIP.
It's fucked up how little Jay mentions or gives props to L.
Fun fact about L, Nas was legitimately intimidated by his skills when he first heard L.
