Honestly was going to start a Halloween thread with some Susumu, glad someone else appreciates him.
I'm honestly more a fan of his work for Berserk but all his stuff is top tier

I saw him live a couple months ago, it was fantastic. Can't believe how well-preserved his voice is at 63. He also dropped this after the tour

The man's a legend.
Nice, you were at the 9th Mandala concert? What day did yougo?
holy shit
He's also started recording his new album BTW, as well as the theme for the new Opus anime.
I went on the first day in July. The stream definitely didn't do it justice, the sound there was top notch and Hirasawa was in great form. Best part was everyone shouting along to this song:

Hell yeah, can't wait for the album next year. I've also heard the Hikashu/Hirasawa concert is getting released soon and that sounds dope. Lots of P-Model songs played for the first time in ages, plus a guitar battle between Hirasawa and Hikashu's guitarist.
anybody got any MEGAs or zippys for his albums? sounds tight as fuck and I want more
He's a genius. It's insane how good his voice still is, it's barely changed.

I'm so jealous, need to see him live one day.
The stream on the first day was absolutely awful, you could only hear drums haha. Improved a bit on the other days.
And this one youtube.com
Was that the fucking Ottoman War song for the intro?
Yeah, it's a shame that his streams are always so bad. If you're ever able to go, look around on Twitter beforehand, there's usually a group of English speaking fans meeting up for dinner and karaoke around the same time. Super friendly folks.
You can find some here, most of the non-soundtrack stuff is good, Technique of Relief is a GOAT

There's also a good discography torrent out there, not sure if it has his latest albums though
his ost for berserk is GOAT

What fucking genre is this holy fuck
Did you go to that dinner party that Lucy was hosting? I actually know someone who was there, who were you exactly so I can mention it to them?
You know Lucy? I met her and Osamah before the show, but something came up and I couldn't go to the party. I ended up meeting some older P-Model fans after a Teruo Nakano show instead (his performances are pretty good too btw, worth checking out).
I've been a fan for years and I still don't know anyone who does anything quite like his prog/electronica/orchestral thing, if you like what you're hearing you should check his discography out.
the yellow with the orange eyes skeleton goes perfectly in time with this track
I mean not personally, but I do follow her on twitter and I know a couple of people who have met her. Lol, what's someone like you doing on Sup Forums of all places?
I own the 1996-2016 compilation CD by Teruo Nakano, I'm a fan of pretty much all the former P-Model members, and I own a few of their stuff like 4-D Mode1.
I usually just come for the occasional album rec and to shill Hirasawa in the Japanese music threads. Didn't expect to see a thread pop up. Actually, if you know a lot of English-speaking fans then I probably know you.
I've seen a number of the other P-Model members live too, they're by and large very nice guys. Yokogawa, Konishi and Fukuma were some of my other favorites.
Yeah, I really didn't expect to see any horse bones here. I don't have a very large twitter presence, so I'm not so sure. What's your twitter account name, I want to see if some of the people I know, know you.
I know someone who went on the first day and one who went on the last day. I was going to mention the screaming along to that song too, it was a lot of fun to watch.
I've seen Hikashu live earlier this year when they came over to my country. I talked to Koichi Makigami about the christmas event and back then he told me that everything was recorded and that I should look out in the obvious place for it. Mita Freeman (the guitarist) seemed pretty cool too, when they were warming up before playing, he played to opening bit to Art Mania and did a little jump like Hirasawa did in those 80s videos.
Actually, I think I know exactly who you are. Gold?
Uhhh, maybe. Lol, who is this?
