I've never said I'm ok with kids being killed. I just know beyond a shadow of a doubt that short of confiscation, no new gun law will help. It will have to be a societal change in which people learn to not depend upon the government for everything. But, the left doesn't want that. "3rd world" is outdated cold-war terminology. IIRC it's "less economically developed" now. Switzerland has a modern economy based on an educated work force. It isn't less economically developed. An example of a less economically developed country would be Ethiopia, where everybody is employed in agriculture or other low/un-skilled labour.
