In a civilized society that tries and reward people based on skills and work ethic, racism negatively effects how much of an opportunity a person has to learn desirable traits in the workplace by separating the poor (mostly minorities because of how fucked America was back then) from the rich. Also not having a diverse environment may cause you to have prejudices against people not like yourself. For example, I live in a mainly Hispanic city, so I trouble trusting blacks and whites, but not middle eastern people because of their skin tone.

"White" is not an ethnicity, so you forget about "ethnostate," whatever fantasy that race. There'a a handful of races none of the things you hate them for (they look different, are poor, etc.) are really things that matter to the definition of race, you uneducated, half-witted fuck.

Because skin color isn't race. Human have been around for so long that most races of people are not the same as they once were. I find it's easier to just treat everyone the same and interact with them based on how they interact with me.

I don't see the slippery slope idea being a must.. nations have been relatively isolated in many instances over the past. I don't see how limiting immigration would be so wrong. It's done in many countries. In the end it comes down to limiting immigration, as was the case for many regions, and maybe incentivizing reproduction for the host group. nations are built on exclusion, countries atleast.

I've been watching a bit of Jordan Pederson lately and he says it is really a scary realization the way the world is heading. We all know that everything about us is heavily influenced by genetics, and nobody wants to admit it but that includes intelligence. The ethical premise of racism being bad is that it imposes assumed negative or positive traits on people based on characteristics they had no choice of having or not, these characteristics not having a significant impact on their behaviors as is implied by racial stereotypes.
In short: a black guy can be an upstanding, intelligent and charismatic person because of his upbringing and personal experiences, or he can be a nigger because of his upbringing and experiences.
The same can be said of any person if the only distinguishing feature of the stereotype is of physical genetic phenotypes like facial structure and skin color. If you judged someone preemptively based on known genetic features that make them an asshole then that's a different story but upbringing has more of an affect on that than race.

In doing that, you'd be (at best) asking people to live in a specific area based on their "race". In either case, you're trying to over-engineer a situation to achieve a desired result. In your case, you think that everyone living with their own race will magically fix all the world's problems, and in the alternate case, they think mixing everyone in perfect ratio will somehow fix everything. In either case, that's not how humanity works, you can't tell people where they belong.

Additionally, the idea that there should be a cultural homeland for people of a specific race is a VERY different proposition from "we should round out all the brown people and put them in one spot". THAT's where most of the controversy is. Not the idea, but the unmentioned means required.

Racism and ethnostates are both bad because they artificially limit human freedoms in an attempt to simplify or classify people. It's a shortcut at best and self-sabotage at worst.
