Do Americans feel superior to Europe?
Do Americans feel superior to Europe?
No.
on the whole, yes.
Feeling better then sweden
But only because I hear bad things
No. Only problem with Europe is the Muslims and the retarded politicians letting them in.
Not anymore
To Germany, Austria, Benelux, France, Denmark, Sweden, Norway, Switzerland, Finland, Iceland, Estonia? No. To everyone else in Europe? Yep.
No, in fact I think Europe is better in some ways.
sweden is pretty nice actually, one of the best countries to live in
you should visit it
We're the greatest country in the world and we know it.
only the continent
>sweden is pretty nice actually, one of the best countries to live in
it's dumber than even the US
To the European Union? Yes.
To the continent? I'd say no.
...
They are and by far superior to Europe.
That's because they've been importing non-whites, which have been driving down their test scores. Don't tell them that though!
kek
Why? US is the best country on the whole world. Is better than any country in Europe Tbh.
Yes, since recently
>some autistic chart
stop showing how dumb you are
> dumber than even the US
you are dumb for sure. nothing to do with the US irl
Sometimes
USA is not like Hollywood movies user.
of course not. it is way better than that
There is no perfect country in the world, but USA compared to rest world have almost everything, strong military, good economy, you are safe on the 100% during any war. One only cons is a bigger probability get shot compared to West Europe.
>can't read data
back to atlanta nigger
It's not that simple. if you're rich USA is best, if you're not than Western Europe is best.
this pretty much
Well yeah, one is a country and the other isn't. EU has been trying to become a superstate to compete with the US but how's that working out for y'all?
Money doesn't matter for me.I can little favorize USA because i always dreamed about immigrate there, for this reason i started learning programming 2 years ago to get a good occupation and in the future immigrate. Anyway i good sleep it is 1:40am here, goodnight.
They feel superior to everything and everyone
americans are superior to europeans
>good economy
user, I...
The US is at the helm of the Western World whether you like it or not. And from there, the most powerful of the world. As an American I'd just prefer a Western power to lead the world in technology, innovation, and even culture. If that happens to be America or typically America, then so be it.
And yes you can cherry-pick statistics here and there but in the end, you can't deny there's probably a McDonald's in your home country.
>Polish flag defending his American masters
Everytime
>I... just can't even
Right?
Americans steal parts of our culture all the time. From your founding to the present day.
In some ways, yes, but, in other ways, no. Mostly, I just see us as different. There's no European country I'd rather live in, though.
The entire American ""culture"" is just a product of cultural appropriation
You're both doing fucking awful
They don't 'steal' culture. Immigrants come here and bring their traditions and ideas. That's how we have Pizza Hut/Dominos/Papa Johns. I mean this isn't a hard concept to understand.
I'm/speak Texasdeutsch. My ancestors settled here in Texas in the mid/late 1800's. The German culture had grew onto Americana, not taken from, or stolen as you put it.
America didn't steal; it embraced it.
Don't like it? Don't come here. Don't buy it. Don't buy from our franchises. It's a very simple concept.
yes.
when i was a child i believed anyone outside of the usa was living in africa tier poverty, that kinda indoctrination does not falter from proxy posting lefties that wanna degrade american superiority and culture
...
Damn straight nigga
>unironically getting mad over """""cultural appropriation"""""
And here's the German and Dutch on time for boo hoo ebil dumb meriga time. A Serb should be along anytime now...
The only Americans that don't feel superior to Europe are the ones that haven't lived there
for me
- 3 months in Oslo
- 2 months in Cologne, 5 months in Frankfurt
- 6 months in Bologna
- 2 months in Helsinki
- 3 months in Lyon
the US is better in every way
then again I'm not NEET so being a NEET or arab is better in Europe if that's your thing.
>Don't like it? Don't come here. Don't buy it. Don't buy from our franchises. It's a very simple concept.
Fucking this. Nothing is more pathetic and irritating than these retarded accusations of stolen culture or cultural imperialism.
And now you buy our computers, wear our nikes and listen to ariana grande. How does it feel losing the culture war?
be humble towards the europoors... you don't need to make them even angrier. they don't know what liberty is.
We all know you're a NEET who has never been to any of those places before
I don't do anything of that...
It's actually the other way around. The Netherlands is an export country. We export as much as 1/3th of the USA. While the USA is an import country. You listen to Dutch DJ's. Eat Dutch food. In fact, American companies even pay taxes in the Netherlands.
We've been doing great since the civil war.
Meanwhile the EU lost someone, and are having a shit fit over it.
If someone tried to leave us there would be a lot more hell to pay... looking at you Cali. Don't do it.
Yes. White Americans are better than white Europeans
It doesn't work that way. By that logic you should boycott 90% of the products you use just because you dislike China
White Americans are the fucking worst
that won't sway people on this board lmao.
>virgin islands
nice one
I don't dislike China, though, and I certainly don't use every available platform to bitch about them. Regardless, I really don't buy that much stuff that's made in China, although I don't intentionally avoid it.
I do, however, hate Walmart, McDonald's, etc., and I don't shop at those places.
Why are you in this thread? You're not avoiding a damn thing.
Who said they didn't like China?
By the way, there is a large market niche for Made in America. Whether one likes it or not, is up to the individual. In this case, the consumer.
Again, it's not that hard to understand this concept.
No, Spain and Portugal are God's chosen countries
Seriously apart from the fact that the middle class has a bit more day-to-day services available to them (provided by illegal immigrants) and that the country happens to be influential (a mere fact of numbers, if any european country was as populated as the US the rest of the world would basically be irrelevant) how are the US superior? It certainly is not in terms of cities, culture, landscapes, mindset, government, proportionnal intellectual output, human rights, general education... You're not even the best at freedom, guns, cars or burgers and you invented your own shitty sports to avoid being beaten by other countries. Apart from financial bubbles on a global scale, segregation enhancement in every possible metric and unjustified diplomatic interferences, what does the US do better than any other country?
disclaimer: I'm not mad and I don't hate the US and find it rather respectable but it's doing pretty average compared to its size and the average citizen is effectively less educated, less rational and fatter than the average european.
Honestly if you are wealthy or well-educated America is fucking amazing, because of having so much stuff and buying power and relative standard of living. there's not much to compare with how great it seems if you live in an elite city or town that caters to a professional industry. IE i go into a hospital that is world-renown and see gold and million dollar paintains everywhere, its crazy.
alot of parts are incredibly depressing though. america seems to have a very split population, one is very high-end and the other is in a state of miseary.
europe and canada on the other hand just seems like a country full of average people, we're all more similar than different, and don't really stand out against the herd.
A lot of that is subjective.
You're doing everything you can to not say something positive about the United States and that's telling.
Yet dare you not to 'hate' anything though, right?
>I don't hate the US
(because you're a rational person, right?)
As an American I can say very good things about France, and perhaps share some disheartening opinions as well.
>alot of parts are incredibly depressing though.
Yeah, they get to live how they choose.
>america seems to have a very split population,
Have you ever noticed that the shithole places are the ones that are most insistent on keeping things the way they are. I spent most of my life in those places, and those people really do choose to live like that.
Also, there are lots of nice rural areas. You never hear about those places because they're nice, quiet, and nothing bad ever happens there.
nah we actually shit as of late
>landscapes
Which European country has the same variety of landscapes as the US?
>pic is from my town
If a Starbucks cup was enough to cause chaos in our country, we probably aren't the best
>buy american products
>bad mouth americans anyway
no. but I don't feel inferior either. they're very different places, with very different strengths and weaknesses. It's hard to compare in an objective way.
we feel superior to everybody on this planet.
Why would I feel any sense of inferiority or superiority to an entire continent of fifty very different countries?
Only the Scandinavian part of Europe.
Other parts, no.
t. knower
yes, they are really kinda poor according to our standards. everything is tiny and expensive, salaries are lower and taxes are higher. and they are full of refugees. they are good to visit because of muh culture but horrible to live in.
Europe is not a country, but EU is. Same as here.
Every culture around the world will become a product of exaltation
I can see a tear rolling down your cheek.
Yes they are.
>EU
>Europe
Really depends on the state and receptive European country
California is better than Poland but Switzerland is better than Mississippi.

I can't deny it, I have an inferiority complex towards America
Haha, so funny.
Yep. I agree. Lots of dummies here.
To be clear. People envision the rape being the kind of late at night ambushes. It's realistically foreigners overstepping their bounds. An Italian here would be as much a rapist as whatever immigrant. Sexual harassment has seen similar increases but less reporting. Especially at festivals.
We're becoming savages.
You're much better Norway. No contest. Please build a wall to keep us filthy partysvenske out.
you rule the world, and we have no effective military. we are basically your bitch
good luck kiddo. Make sure your English is good b4 u get here
>My Fat Son
This. America is a nation of extremes. This is why we are still the world film capital, even after all these years. It's just such a dramatic place to live.
You get to pay for all those social programs Euros like to remind us of because we're paying to be your bodyguard.
no one compares
>Delaware is richer than Switzerland, Sweden, every country in Europe besides Norway and Luxembourg
what the actual fuck?? lol
GDP is not a good measure for the perception of wealth. It's a very abstract measure that indicates other things. Most of which aren't going to be perceived well by a citizen.
but at the end of the day, we have no hard power.
if you wanna start shit in middle east, we have no choice but to accept it and deal with the following refugee crisis
And despite that, we still pay 1.2% of our GDP for a military that is almost completely useless to us
Kek
This. By GDP, my state is the worst. We're just entirely rural, and we have a tiny population. Nonetheless, Vermont is a pretty nice state.
>1.2% of our GDP
That's less than 2%.
that's still 41bn $ thrown out of the window annually
yeah but also i think there's a lot of brain-drain from places that cannot change into a better industry but only the smarter ones have a means of leaving. the most homogenous places in your cunt ie black or ethnic ghettos or rural white areas are also usually kinda bad.
the nicest parts are those super-rich houses/neighborhoods i saw in san francisco/suburbs in DC/ and the most liveable seem to be the major coastal cities in the northeast/northwest.
Hey, I'm not for keeping anyone in NATO who doesn't want to be a part of it. Afaik, that's us, the UK, Estonia, Poland, and Greece. Despite Greece paying more than their share, they have a bad attitude about it, so they can fuck off too.
T'bh I'd like to see Russia do as they please in the Baltic states. Seems to me that yurpeens would much rather have Russia occupying any land that has more than 10 russophonic residents instead of us wasting our money on bases there.
I'm all for the dramatic restructuring of NATO, and then the EU can build whatever military they want.
Then you probably must be happy that due to your new leader, Europe and USA are drifting apart
We are gonna build up our own military and nato will be either disbanded or exist in name only
yes please, the NATO murder machine can fuck off :^)
if Europeans had any sort of brain, they'd be building common defense instead of relying on NATO and not take part in the USA's international adventures (or propose their own) either
>Which European country has the same variety of landscapes as the US?
*teleports behind you*
why do united statians hate Europeans?
>Hey, I'm not for keeping anyone in NATO who doesn't want to be a part of it
this aint true, we got not referendum on this.
same is with montenegro nowadays - they are not allowed topic to be placed on referendum cause statistics said majority of people are against the membership. And about Greece - there are hundreds violations of their airspace and waters by Turkey and nato do nothing as general practice...

>there's a lot of brain-drain from places that cannot change into a better industry
In my experience, being one who left his hometown in his 20s, industry has less to do with the brain drain than does culture. Why would I want to stay in a place where the people are wilfully and even proudly stupid? Should I then get married to some obese retard named Britney, have 3 goober kids, and develop a nice dependency on opioids? Yeah, no thanks.
I did move back to a rural area, but not the same one I came from. There's no need to go back to the place where I was mocked my entire childhood for putting in minimal effort in school and just being generally interested in the world.
>ethnic ghettos
Try improving those communities, and see how they react. They live as they choose to live.
Remember, our government structure is bottom-up, not top-down.
>rural white areas
Only in the South. I live in the one of the whitest and most rural states, Vermont, and it's nice here.
>the nicest parts are those super-rich houses/neighborhoods i saw in san francisco/suburbs in DC/ and the most liveable seem to be the major coastal cities in the northeast/northwest
Those places too busy or are yuppie conformist Hell. I'd rather live in West Virginia or New Mexico. Economy is not the ultimate measure of quality of life.
