There is no perfect country in the world, but USA compared to rest world have almost everything, strong military, good economy, you are safe on the 100% during any war. One only cons is a bigger probability get shot compared to West Europe.

The US is at the helm of the Western World whether you like it or not. And from there, the most powerful of the world. As an American I'd just prefer a Western power to lead the world in technology, innovation, and even culture. If that happens to be America or typically America, then so be it.

Seriously apart from the fact that the middle class has a bit more day-to-day services available to them (provided by illegal immigrants) and that the country happens to be influential (a mere fact of numbers, if any european country was as populated as the US the rest of the world would basically be irrelevant) how are the US superior? It certainly is not in terms of cities, culture, landscapes, mindset, government, proportionnal intellectual output, human rights, general education... You're not even the best at freedom, guns, cars or burgers and you invented your own shitty sports to avoid being beaten by other countries. Apart from financial bubbles on a global scale, segregation enhancement in every possible metric and unjustified diplomatic interferences, what does the US do better than any other country?

disclaimer: I'm not mad and I don't hate the US and find it rather respectable but it's doing pretty average compared to its size and the average citizen is effectively less educated, less rational and fatter than the average european.

Honestly if you are wealthy or well-educated America is fucking amazing, because of having so much stuff and buying power and relative standard of living. there's not much to compare with how great it seems if you live in an elite city or town that caters to a professional industry. IE i go into a hospital that is world-renown and see gold and million dollar paintains everywhere, its crazy.

alot of parts are incredibly depressing though. america seems to have a very split population, one is very high-end and the other is in a state of miseary.

europe and canada on the other hand just seems like a country full of average people, we're all more similar than different, and don't really stand out against the herd.

Have you ever noticed that the shithole places are the ones that are most insistent on keeping things the way they are. I spent most of my life in those places, and those people really do choose to live like that.
Also, there are lots of nice rural areas. You never hear about those places because they're nice, quiet, and nothing bad ever happens there.

In my experience, being one who left his hometown in his 20s, industry has less to do with the brain drain than does culture. Why would I want to stay in a place where the people are wilfully and even proudly stupid? Should I then get married to some obese retard named Britney, have 3 goober kids, and develop a nice dependency on opioids? Yeah, no thanks.
I did move back to a rural area, but not the same one I came from. There's no need to go back to the place where I was mocked my entire childhood for putting in minimal effort in school and just being generally interested in the world.
