Why does in every film about WWII Italians are portrayed like good people who were forced into this war and they just wanna go back to Italy to see their mama while Germans are portrayed as evil sadist people who want to see everyone suffer?

because that's a very accurate description

just like real life, then?

It isn't though.

It's because no one put them to task. Germany was reprimanded and berated but Italy got nothing.

>It isn't though.
Germany raped, killed and enslaved millions

Italy barely did any horrible warcrimes (relatively speaking).

people mistaken their incompetency for mercy

because spaghetti is good and probably because mussolini got rekt by his own cunt or something

Because you have to keep up that germanophobia somehow.
It's easier to make your people hate your enemy and make sure that no one shows sympathy for them if they are dehumanized. Also something something jews but that's kinda ridiculous imo.
Italians aren't a really serious threat at this point so they get off the ride easy.

jews are cotrolling everything now because of germany

Italy did a lot of fucked up shit. Germany and japan being front abd center dies no excuse Italy at all whatsoever.
