/cyc/ Giro stage 15

Il Lombardia edition

>10 second "break"
>Half the flat part of the stage is almost over

Really? Really?

...

2agan's such a character. No wonder everyone likes him.

Wow that does look exactly like the Lombardy

>Go to cheer on your favourite riders
Pretty cool
>Bring a huge USAUSAUSA flag
Okay.
>Act like complete retards with pokemon costumes and inflatable waffles
WHY?!?

Are you perhaps new to cycling? Should see the crows from the TdF then.

Gotta support the team

>two cities one ass
>fuel your summer
>golf goes wild
>home of cycling
>it IS software

I hate you all !!!

I love this cooking revolution

these jamaican niggers competing in those meme nordic sports are fun

>it IS software
That has to be the dumbest of eurosport's adds. Can't even meme it in any way, it's just plain terrible.

Also
>All of the guys in the break are already on support bike bottles but only one for each
>All because the peloton doesn't let them go over a minute so their team's support cars can resupply them

What the actual fuck? There's over 100km left, cut it the fuck out.

The peloton is literally trying to kill them through dehydration.

It's like they tried to meme up the ad but failed miserably.

>Average speed
>52.2

What the actual fuck?

>Gaviria tries for a break

Haha, oh wow.

cannondale missed it AGAIN??

Get back on the front, boys.

There we go, fucking finally. Based Gaviria actually made it in as well.

>the country of cannondale

Wait, I heard only a couple of teams missed the huge break we got. Let me guess, Cannondale was one of them?

So this break going all the way right?

50/50 I reckon.

I can see Orica (and Cannondale) chasing it down after a bit of a rest.

> multipe Cannondale riders dropped

how do my fellow dutchbros watch this online? i thought >nos had streams but apparently not

they finally made it into a group though

Not surprising, weren't they the ones trying to pull the previous breakaway back, succeeding and not getting anyone into the new one?

Tiz-Cycling always has streams up

It's only on Eurosport

>Dutch Eurosport finally starts airing the Giro
>Immediate commercial break

Fuck I miss based Sporza

>I love this cucking revolution

>2Sagan with Bora

How much difference is there between different bike/gear manufactures?

In Formula 1 for example there is a huge difference between different manufactures. But how much difference does it make for the riders using different gear (mainly bikes I guess) manufactures?

wew, they're 21 minutes ahead of the fastest time schedule.

not much, it's 99% down to the rider

bikes - they're all riding awesome bikes.
in time trials things like clothing, helmets, and the bike make a much bigger difference - but again, all the leading teams are using awesome equipment.

On normal road bikes it really doesn't matter who makes your bike. When it comes to TT/tri bikes there can be some noticeable differences as aerodynamics matter much more.

Gaviria cracks

Just tuning in guys.
What has happened so far?

100km of full-on racing.
5km of rest.
back to full-on racing.

Been a fun stage.

They've been going full gas from the start.

>With US customer service.

Is that a good thing?

Cabal abandons

every victory in cycling is deserved and earned since the differences in aero drag/stiffness/set-up of the frames and bikes are almost negligible across the top manufacturers, whereas F1 races are determined by the first corner or in the pits

Okay, cool. Sounds very logical with the TT and aerodynamics.
That sounds pretty good. It's much more interesting to watch a sport if you know that the winning athlete actually is the best, and not just the best out of those who have the best equipment. I'm sure tactics and teammates matter as well, but anyways.

Thanks for the info!

>whereas F1 races are determined by the first corner or in the pits
Yeah, that has not been an interesting sport for a number of years now.

Just woke up, anything important I missed?

Not really. Fun stage so far, but nothing serious happened as yet.

the commentator tryharding on the pronunciation of international names cracks me up

based costume fans. you get them at every race

>wet roads
>knees still shit and failing me
>get puncture one mile from home

abysmal morning ride

Compared to a lot of other places in the world, it actually is.

We're so spoiled here that prompt, accomodating service that doesn't come with a smile is unacceptable.

anyone else that doesnt mind the people running along as long as they dont come too close.

its part of the charm i m o

Absolutely. Much better than sticking them behind barriers. Imagine Dutch corner with Dumoulin in yellow.

is there any person that most riders in the peleton don't like? Outside of Nacer Bouhanni who seems to be disliked by all

R-remember me?
I won Tour of Norway today!!!

As long as they're not complete idiots I don't see a problem
People flailing their arms about or running in between riders instead of alongside them should be shot though

voeckler is supposedly unpopular. who really knows though.

amador (i think) down

Quintana

Quintana down, damn

I'm drinking that Geuze I was talking about yesterday and it is blowing my mind big time right now.

This literally doesn't smell or taste like anything I've had before

CAN'TANA IS DOWN!

And the fucking assholes at Movistar stopped their car like fucking idiots.

>go to ad break
>something happens

every fucking time

Goddamn Tom is a class act

This is the next descent. wew lads

Are they waiting for Quintana? If so why? They didn't wait for kruijswijk last year.

useless fat fuck

>Italian infrastructure
Good lord

It's a climb, they couldn't actually dash that much even if they found out.

>queen stage on a Tuesday

why would you do this

I know right? There's a whole world of wild beers to explore. Famous are the Belgian lambics and reds, but in The Netherlands you should keep an eye on Tommie Sjef, Eanske, and also some of Oersoep.

Cheers!

it should be today

Good for you. Try that Rodenbach next, although Geueze is steen as the pinnacle by many

So Swiss user can go watch it.

Well, you guys warned me... I'll give the Rodenbach Grand Cru a go next!

Right now I can't say that I like this, it's not undrinkable and I can see why people like it but not for me I guess.

Thinking of bringing a sign

bring a costume

I like oude geuzes

>it's not undrinkable and I can see why people like it
That's how it begins.

>tfw TdF will never start in Binland
Esplanadi would be bretty nice place for race finish desu

Fuck Eurosport

Drank A Rodenbach a couple of month ago that I had saved from 2013. Really good stuff.

>dont try this at home
>deliver a How-to video

Bring a sign paying your respects to based Pinot

How long until the UCI stops being retarded and starts using drones instead?

VINZCZCZENZO NIIIBAAALIII

>Most expected descent of the stage
>Shove in Nibbles explaining it on half the screen just as it starts

Couldn't they have done that before it fucking started? Jesus fuck.

They do the same with THANKS JUAN and stage finishes.

give me a suggestion

writing >RIP PINOT will get me arrested for making a threat probably lel

That was fucking close. Rolland almost skid on that left corner there.

rip the city of canondale

Holy fuck! What the fuck was that? Guy from Cannondale literally flipped, and one from Sky looked seriously battered.

That comedy slow motion crash from Formolo

Eurosport has also beat out our national broadcasting coorporation for the rights to the Olympics. Someone has to stop these cunts.

>sky
>cannondale
In charge of not getting murdered

Business as usual then

How did Bardet manage to avoid the
