How can other Radiohead records even compete

>not mentioning black star

I will never understand why OK Computer is considered one of the greatest albums of all time while The Bends is completely overlooked, when both are very similar. Is it the bleep bloops?

Shit you're right
Nice catch

finally someone had the balls to admit it

okc has better production

no it doesn't

oh yes it does

pitchfork.com/reviews/albums/6656-kid-a/

John Leckie is an extremely underrated producer desu

radiohead is the greatest band of all time

it's a good album however it didn't age all that well desu

lol

i've never heard a Radiohead album, but this post convinced me to do a marathon of their first three albums while I listen to some podcasts. wish me luck

the bends > okc > kid a

just do the golden 3, OKC, Kid A and IR.

youtube.com/watch?v=7oN6Mt_DcAk

OK Computer's theme are a lot less personal issues and more societal critique, which basically means that it's seen as more aware of the world it is in, rather than pouring your heart out for your own issues which others might relate.

>listening to music and podcasts at the same time

>Bends, OKC, IR
ftfy, Kids A and B are for fucking "m-muh experimental sound" autists

I CANT BELIEVE SOMEONE AGREES WITH ME.

EVERY SONG WAS AN ABSOLUTE BANGER

it's so melancholic and emotional. much more personal. best album ever made desu

i wish i could listen to this for the first time again

yeah this album makes me cringe sometimes, but it was cool when I first heard it

>thom writes heartbreaking lyrics, relatable to people who are struggling with their life
>"hurr hurr i didn't write the bends for people to slit their wrists over it"
What was he expecting, really? I don't get the man sometimes.

i just don't find radiohead's music depression. it's just really melancholy and somewhat comforting

>i wanna live, breath, i wanna be part of the human race
literally the pinnacle of music

Not sure why the titular song is considered one of the weaker tracks, I quite liked it. Gives me feelings of sleeping on a plane.

Yeah okay but
>And I wish it was the sixties, I wish I could be happy
>I wish, I wish, I wish that something would happen

>I can feel death, can see its beady eyes
>All these things into position
>All these things we'll one day swallow whole
>And fade out again and fade out again

>She looks like the real thing
>She tastes like the real thing
>My fake plastic love

>You do it everyday
>You don't mean it but it hurts like hell

Are objectively sad lyrics.

i dont know how to justify it but it's the same with watching sad films for me. it always sometimes makes me feel better about myself. makes me feel like im not the only one with problems

(me)
>always sometimes
just meant always

what else am I supposed to do? it takes a really really long time

tragic opinion

what podcasts do you listen to?

Chapo Trap House, The Bernie Sanders Show, Guys We Fucked, The Joe Rogan Experience

cool, very trendy

this

sad desu, may as well be listening to Pablo

skip pablo honey

JRE user? the dude's a fucking moron

i like sad music

The Bends -> OK Computer -> Kid A
what a trilogy

what a music!

this

>unhappy because no one shares your (shitty) opinion
:(

my dad used to play this album all the time in the car so its always been my fave. okc is a close second. Kid A is cool and all but eh, the other two are better imo.

Whats so good about the cúmeface album

its a picture of you when you listen to it

...

he's actually really smart if you listen to him closely

ok computer has a more mature sound imo,, i love the bends but beyond the pure emotional weight of the record it doesn't really offer anything particularly substantial to me
ofc just my opinion tho, idk about anyone else

it may be their best album but it's not saying much cause they're shit

i don't think so

im never on Sup Forums but was looking for good music to fill my mp3 player with since wintertime makes me listen more to music
i didn't expect a radiohead thread between 10 kpop generals and other bs

can you guys just type some bands/ singer names so i can check them out pls
i listen pretty much to classic rock - soul funk stuff
thank you alot

I second this for the same reason, but i deserve nothing for my laziness.

OK Computer is just perfect

this is underrated

>THEY DONT HAVE THE FUCKING BLEEP BLOOPS AT THE START OF PARANOID ANDRIOD ON THE OK NOT OK 1997 2016
REEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEE

You gotta through the whole album out

nice dream is pretty good

RH's best album is still amnesiac

nah..
much filler

its unironically the best emo album

You mean it's at the end of Airbag?
Isn't that's how it always was? I think mine's like that.

>if I don't like it, it's filler

How to spot a pleb

sounds more modern

okc sounds like it couldve been made in 2012

I wouldn't say it's their best but it is their most relatable. It's the Radiohead album I'd listen to after a particularly shitty day at work or something.

not really, but it's really good

the bends
bend
bendy bends

>doesn't mention the bends

>fake plastic trees
Fucking really?

it's incredibly melodic. beautiful song

>I don't know what title track means

Focus on the music, you fucking pleb.

u spelt weezer wrong sweetie
