Turkish generals in 1867 disobeyed the Mongo Khan and attacked random African states with primary aim of securing slaves for their households. It is believed to be the first war almost entirely instigated by women, as records show the women of Turkey were united in wanting this exotic commodity and wouldn't let their men get peace until each woman of childbearing age receive "at least three sturdy african specimens."
They met success at first but when the africans organized and counter-attacked with hover pyramids, the tides quickly turned.
However the women of Turkey received their wish, so it is controversial to this day whether or not Turkey lost.
The legacy of the war lives on in the blood of every turkish citizen, a happy blend of their rich arabic, mongic and african heritages.
