He's writing the new Doom Patrol which I think is pretty good. Unbrella Academy is pretty good too, but it's basically Doom Patrol with different characters.
I do think that Gerard has talent, but his stuff is defiantly derivative. He tried to get an Adult Swim cartoon, but was denied because it was too similar to ATHF, and he took a Jawbreaker chorus from Jawbreaker.
