I like how he said that Politics was once something you'd only do every four years.
Before TV and Radio your local political party was a big part of the social scene in both rural towns and cities. Along with Church groups and civic/charitable societies.

Parties used to be a lot more engaged with the local population than they are today and had to host events and such to keep people interested in them and coming back for more. They didn't have mass media to trickle news into peoples houses they had to actively campaign.

Mass media was the biggest racket that the (((elites))) ever had.

Before mass media you couldn't propoganda as easily, there'd be quiet dissent. For the past 100 years it's been one constant narrative stream.

Kek and the memes of the internet has completely formed a new voice that can compete with the MSMS and what's more people believe it more because it's word of mouth, and word of mouth is the most potent convincer.

HAHAHAHA COLBERT LITERALLY SOLD HIS SOUL TO THE DEVIL

HE REPLACED THE ONLY FUNNY LATE NIGHT COMEDIAN LEFT

HE THOUGHT HE'D BE REWARDED

HAS THERE BEEN A BIGGER FALL FROM GRACE?

What's interesting is watching how they're trying to subvert it. With "popular" accounts on social media that get shared and retweeted and such but people see through that shit and just abandon the platform after a while.

I've a friend who is a model(as a side job) with only a few thousand instagram followers and she gets some free shit to promote because her followers trust her. The market for online trust is granular and it's harder and more expensive to control and subvert it than ever before in history.
It's wonderful.

In fact the only place I can think of that I use where you can mass market at me is Sup Forums but there is so much shit-posting that no-one can be trusted on here at all.

that was pretty kewl desu

The public speak from truth, so they win. It sounds simple but it's the obvious answer.

When or if someone posts some emotional and or propoganda bullshit on Sup Forums or reddit or facebook, there will be dissent, and they will get frustrated, and they will source their refutation and it'll be corroborated by hard data.

Hard data wins, and then it becomes an easy to digest meme that even an idiot can understand. And then the idiot knows the truth, and the truth wins.

They can buy all the celebrities they want, but some user will comment beneath the celebrities post with a refutation and it'll make it all for naught, it'll even red pill people who accidentally read the refutation.

Seems like he spoke from the heart so you have to admire his sincerity. He should just say it outright though: the media is to blame. Clickbait and sensationalized bullshit is ruining civilized society and has made people toxic, tribal, and divisive.

There is no one to blame for the division but the media themselves, the people that cut up Trump's clips to make him sound like Mexican Hitler. You can do that with any person that doesn't speak in a manner that is politically correct, it's really, REALLY, easy, but obviously insanely irresponsible as we've seen from the past year.

It wasn't just based in Trump either, the impoverished Black communities that refuse to acknowledge their gravitation towards crime genuinely believe le racist police officers are literally murdering them in the streets just for existing. Ignoring the media, we have a particularly rare opportunity of a president that relates directly to them that could have easily dissolved that confusion with a short speech, but he decided to do the opposite - he fanned the flames of the division claiming the police officers are completely at fault.

I am glad that Colbert is accepting, but he should acknowledge that the media is to blame for the chaotic nature of this election. They should be doing their job, but instead they took money from Clinton to make this fuckfest happen in the hopes that it will result in her victory.

Will Trump make it illegal to not be white?

lol she editted out the black guy with the beard on the left

i have a photographic memory and saw that pic today

also; meritocracy faggot. the DNC was a POC wonderland and lost. whats that tell you

fuck its a different pic i cant find that one
based black beardman though on the left

Nvm

What does race have to do with anything? Why does it matter? WHY CAN'T SHE SEE THE IRONY?

There need to be at least 5 black guys, 3 Mexicans, 20 women, and 2 Asians.

You fucking transphobic bigot! They must all be trans as well!

"Hillary Clinton was a shitty candidate who wouldn't be told."

plenty of Asians oddly

I like that people these days actually have the ability to read media well enough to not fall for this kinda sensational shit.
Not that I know the situation in the pic, could be true but that pic is cropped as fuck and posted to internet, easy as shit to manipulate to suit your needs.

>Veterans for Trump.
>Doesn't say what side she was on.

Fucking VC!

i think most asians, especially not born in murka see a tyrant and it was not a trump
