This album is my favorite album.

My man
I think this albums great but I think they have better albums imo

Sad music for losers who never amounted to much

Pretty mediocre

Pretty good

Hilarious.

Vicar in a Tutu is a joke
The rest is wonderful
As far as The Smiths as a whole, they're one of my favorite groups. Strangeways being my least favorite from them though

I love Morrissey's songwriting most of the time, and Marr is an incredible guitarist.

That said, about 1/4th of their songs just sound like really bland soft rock to me.

Still, infinitely better than The Cure, and probably a hair better than New Order. Plus, they influenced a lot of great bands, like The Wedding Present, The House of Love, Suede, and The Stone Roses

best pop group oat and it's not even close

Good humour and melodies but some deep shit too. Plus Johnny marr is a legend

hatful of hollow is their best
started to think queen is dead is overrated
s/t is better.
don't forget about the housemartins

One of if not THE best band that ever came from Manchester

tried to listen to The Queen is Dead and didn't really enjoy it, should I relisten?

I can't make it through a full song, the vocals are a joke

you should hear him play piano

Nobody on Sup Forums listens to The Smiths. Go back to RYM.

It's one of my favorite bands, but i can't listen to nu-male no more. It lows my masculinity.

worrying about your masculinity lowers your masculinity

my favorite band, i absolutely love the smiths

hehe good one

>If so what are your opinions of them?
love them. Its a shame morissey hasnt been able to recapture the essence outside of a few singles

Top 5 Songs
>Girlfriend in a coma
>Asleep
>I know its over
>Oscillate wildly
>That joke isn't funny anymore

My top 5 songs
>half a person
>please, please, please let me get what i want
>heaven knows i'm miserable now
>back to the old house
>there is a light that never goes out

Gateway band for me. And probably the only jangle pop group that I can stand. Open to suggestions in that genre though if anyone has them.

Why do you post a picture of Albini

great band, near perfect album
I know im gonna get shit for this but Frankly Mr Shankly is my favorite song on it
>back to the old house
underrated song, good taste friend
