nice one pal, was gonna post it myself
Is that book any good, OP?
I'd recommend:
>Any Stoicism book(Marcus Aurelius, Seneca, Epictetus. Stay away from any of the new shit.)
>Dhammapada
>Ajahn Chah's Collected Teachings
>Alan Watts books
>Robert Greene(Mastery, especially)
...
yeah i love it and its easy/fast reading. i read 'journey to the east' first by hesse but i like siddhartha a lot more
ive read some dhammapada but will check out your other suggestions. what alan watts do you suggest?
Definitely grab a copy of Meditations by Marcus Aurelius. I couldn't recommend this book any more. It's like $3.00 on Amazon. For Alan Watts, I'd suggest "The Book: On the Taboo of Knowing Who You Are" and "The Way of Zen". He has a lot more, but I've only read those two. There's plenty of his lectures on YouTube, I found them really helpful during my times of depression. Like this one: youtube.com
Awesome, will check them out
cool thanks dude added aurelius and a watts to my amazon cart.
