Are you self diagnosed? Or is this coming from a professional?

Are you using screens (phone computers) late at night(blue light from screen simulates sunlight. Suppresses melatonin? Coffee intake? When you do sleep is it in or around a similar time late at night?

Do you have to wake up for a job in the morning? Do you nap when you get home? Are you well hydrated and nourished?

Have you ever tried making a bedtime routine, wherein you take melatonin supplements for an hour before your planned bedtime, followed by wind down activities like reading actual books or magazines (as in not a screen), showering, tidying, preparing lunch for the next day while avoiding food to pet your digestive system settle so it doesn't disrupt your sleep?

Do you go to sleep with a blood alcohol content on a regular basis?

Melatonin is good, its not like Bill Cosby level but its alright

>Bill Cosby level.

Lol'd

Professional
coffee inakte high
no job but school
sometimes nap
she doesn't drink lots of water tbh
no alcohol at all

thx

doxylamine, it's the strongest otc medicine

*for insomnia

She sleeps in school cuz she says she is always tired and she wakes up at all hours in the night
she uses the phone often at night/evening hours
she doesnt nap frequently at home
she drinks coffee a lot and seems to be unaffected by it
She does not drink a lot of water on a daily basis
She does not conusme alcohol

>turn an alarm off by doing fitness activities
>wake up more comfortably during a light sleep phase
>use a flashlight alarm

fitari (dot) io

Would that be effective for the fact that she wakes up at night for no good reason?

Melatonin supplements its the hormone your body produces to make you sleepy. Its been taken for up to 9 years with little to no side effects

melatonin could help with that, the app helps with waking up easier

does this require prescription or can it be bought at an average pharmacy?

Two months ago i went began going through a pretty bad depression/anxiety stage.

At one point I stayed awakes for 5 days because my flight or fight response was constantly pushing adrenaline through my body and i just couldn’t sleep.

Try ZZZquil, Melatonin, Sleepy Time Tea, or just any over the counter medication for sleeping. If that doesn’t help you get enough sleep, you can go see a doctor or call your doctor and get a prescription for medication. I had to take Tamazapam for a few days. Just be careful cause if you take it for a long period, like more than 2 weeks, you will probably become addicted.

If you don’t want to take Benzos. Try the OTC medication and also work out. Run or go to the gym in the morning, it will improve your sleep guaranteed.

Sleepy time tea sounds good care to elaborate

Have you tried a daily dose of exercise

If it doesn't work take two

Its funny that she listens torandom strangers on the internet and not to me :(

>ZZZquil

Benadryl is the same shit and it's significantly cheaper. It works, but be aware of being groggy the next morning. Melatonin works as well, but it has to build up in your system for it to be fully effective.

Start with diphenhydramine for temporary relief and melatonin for long term treatment.

Simply sleep every two days

This is actually correct.

drink heavily

Thats awfully disrupted and random, even for a coffee drinker and day napper.

She definitely needs a professional.

She should try a Target bedtime, use melatonin, and for the love of God, no phone if she wakes up in the middle of the night.

Wake up at night plus phone screen = sunrise! It'll wake her system right up. She should be putting it away before bed.

All these naggy details aside she definitely has a serious problem. Those are your natural methods to try. A doctor is highly recommended.

Of course I'm not a doctor.
Stay away from blue light an hour before you plan to sleep. Don't eat or drink sugar either. Don't look at your phone while you're in bed. Wake up when you're supposed to be up (8 hours from when you should have slept) and eat immediately. Try to get some light exercise in the morning, or the afternoon.

Keep in mind these are common fixes that won't help you if you have a medical disorder. Try these if you're willing to give it some time. You might need a doctor, nobody here will give you reliable medical advice. If you're depressed as fuck then that's a whole different ballpark. Good luck my dude, get healthy.

Melatonin and only melatonin, it non persecution and works for ptsd vets

Valerian root is a cleaner short term alternative
It doesn't really work after a while though so your stuck with it being shirt term

Thanks dood
Your advice is duly noted

Sup Forums isnt that bad of a place lmao
thx

Chamomile tea. It relaxes the body and can help you stay asleep. You could add honey to it if you'd like to make it sweet.

Sounds good will give it a try

Smoking Satan's salad helped me with mine, just gotta research what strain is the best for sleeping.

it’s just a tea that has herbs in it that will relax you. It has a bear in PJs on the cover. Can grab it at CVS, Walmart, Etc

Also if you see those Marley's mellow mood teas they have a similar effect, also caused be herbs and roots I believe.

Just as a follow-up.

Lavender, melatonin, chamomile, roots, and other vitamin shop level "remedies" wont cure actual insomnia, or circadian rhythm disturbances

You will need to see a doctor who may send you to a sleep specialist.

Try ambien first, its considered one of the first steps for actual insomnia. If that dosent work there are benzo's and benzo-like medications you can try in very small dosages(0.1mg) that aid in insomnia treatment. If it persists you may need to take a sleep study and see if you have obstructive apnea, and get a CPAP/BiPAP.
If not you may need to try sedatives and tranquilizers to fight off the initial sleeplessness. Your body wants to sleep, but your mind is preventing it from winding down.

Do you ever stay up for more then 24 hours at a time? What is your sleep schedule link when you can sleep.
