yep, he's definitely /ourguy/
I sort of feel like it's a lot harder to become a "Big Thing" nowadays, even if he is a great director no one will really appreciate it how they used to.
>From the director of Prisoners
Not at all
The most IMDB sensibility film made so far. Anybody who thinks that Prisoners is above mediocre is juvenile about the medium and entirely emblematic of the video game crossposter fueled downfall of this board.
Villeneuve is one of the biggest trashmasters working today. This is hot pocket the movie. Cheeto dust: the flick.
IMDB "FILM BUFF" pleb fodder. If you like this film then you are an enemy of the medium.

All the memes are there, it's shit
nice meme
how the hell do you say his last name
vee-ya-nwave-eh
"fin-cher for imdb graduates"
"the white trash director from canada that isn't the homosexual one" (Can only be used assuming you know about french canadian directors tho)
Based Rocco!
My thoughts exactly. He's a fucking legend!
I know this is pasta but I kind of agree.
The movie had great strengths but also a few great weaknesses. I don't have any intention of watching it again unlike Sicario.
And his first name is "denny"
bill neuf
This is a pornographic actor. Nice meme OP
>ywn look up Amy Adams's ass and unload on Jeremy Renner's face
That's not Rocco, it's Ethan Hawke.
yes, it's not
Le EPIC meme friend XD!
I wouldn`t say "next great director".
But he's solid. His movies usually aren't super deep, grandiose, or profound but they're very well crafted, well performed, shot, and are generally pretty mature.
That's the best you can ask for nowadays, I'm happy he's doing the Blade Runner sequel though.
Ive liked all of his movies except enemy
It was 2deep4me
Though I agree his movies aren't always a labyrinthine exercise in critical thinking, he's proven he's able to handle sophisticated complexity with Enemy and Arrival, the latter of which is honestly just beautiful in every facet. "On the Nature of Daylight" was the perfect choice for a haunting exeunt.
I just so vill-a-no-vo
Is he, dare I say it, /ourguy/?
>Cheeto dust: the flick
>Moar liek the next good director the cucks in Sup Forums are going to irrationally hate.
>no incendies or polytechnique
fucking hilarious. this is how you know is 100% true
