I'm building an electric go kart from scratch and I was wondering if anyone here could confirm if my circuitry is going to work before I go out and buy the parts. if you type the parts as I've written them into ebay you will find all the specs
please Sup Forums welp!

Dude, that's so much work. Fuck that
yeah but, the only thing is what kinda resistor should I use after the alternator
bump
Is this like a science fair project. Or are you going to cosplay as mario lmao.
mario

Dude, look that up. If not use the hugest one
the hugest one one what?
twenty thousand ppl on Sup Forums and no one can help me out?
Heard of google?
BUMP!!!!!!!!!!
yes nigga that's how I learn electronics, but I'm an amateur so I can't be sure. help a brother out!
Sorry, 'd like to help but my EE classes are long in the past. I can suggest that the mystery wire might be related to grounding.
yeah I have a ground off the alternator so the over flow ( if there is any) gets earthed out
I guess I could just put another step up/ step down buck booster instead of a resistor and then I would know for sure.
bumpty bumpty
hey guys how does I mack curcuts?
I used to make manual go karts as a kid with everyone on the street, every one of them catastrophically came to an end injuring whoever was driving it.
I'd say get a 50cc engine and build around that.
>ROLLCAGE OR YOU'LL BE HOT LAPPING WITH JESUS
if I could I'd drive it over you
guyz?
Wtf you need an alternator for? It will give back way less power than it sucks from the motor. Drop it and get better battery life. Also dont think a starter motor is the best option and 10A is way to little, you will only get 120watt output. Starters can suck several hundred amps.
Think that a starter motor is really a good idea? Why not a 1-3HP DC, it'll run ya $100 New, unless you have a starter already
Yes, this. Unless you wanna get a deep cycle battery, don't use a starter. Well, don't use one anyway. You can try but you can also just get a gas motor for cheaper than all that and I'll be fun,
all I really want to do is burn outs and I've seen ppl on you tube using starter motors the seem fine.
33v 10a = 330 watts, directly onto the road, power isent the problem. with this battery set up I get 54000 mAh, if my motor used 100amp (witch it wont) that's still a half hour long burn out. plus the wires and motor would melt.
and yeah I already have a starter motor for free
I also have afew alternators. but what an alternator does mate, is charge the battery while I drive :)
ALSO I HAVE REALIZED THE FAULTS IN THIS CIRCUIT WHILE WATCHING THIS THREAD
/diy/ would be the best place for this. u might actually get relevant info instead of Sup Forums style shitposting. or not.
why do you need a cigarette lighter in a gokart?
circuitry more like faggotry amirite guys
it's gonna have a stubby holder too
Thank you kindly sir

I realized what was wrong after all, and did an upgread.
You just dont get it? You gain nothing by putting an alternator in there. Lets say it draws 5amps extra from the battery to spin the alternator, and it only gives back 3amps. Then you LOOSE 2amps, all the time!! There is no such thing as free energy.
