Is the American dream still a thing?

Is the American dream still a thing?

Busting a fat load in OP's mom until I fill her rectum with my hot seed? Yes, alive and well.

Probably not popular here, but yes, I think it is.

>Backstory:

>I grew up extremely poor
>poor school
>rural / middle of nowhere
>sexually abused
>Parental neglect

>went to college
>busted my ass
>Dual major and minor
>went to tech school
>got job a visa
>made 50k a year
>Went to better job
>make 75k a year

met all my goals

It's possible.

the American dream was destroyed when Roosevelt defined it
prior to FDR the dream was that anyone can do what ever the fuck they want to do
FDR forced his socialist dick down everyone's collective throat by saying that every American should want their own house, and a car, and even the type of food "real" Americans would want was cut down in the variety that was being eaten before him

>implying it ever was
Take whatever you can get, by relentless aggression. When you get that, find more to take. That is the only American dream that remains viable, because it is the only American dream that has ever amounted to any success, beginning with the colonies.

Go be a gullible nigger somewhere else.

>look at me and how special I am
>and how much money they pay me when I hold my hand out every two weeks

there is your American dream user

It is but it's just a dream.

Not for the middle class or lower. I got a degree from a decent state school. Dad helped me get into his pharma company. Mom and stepdad gave me the 40k for the down payment on my house. Still, its overrated. Obviously though, I neglect all these facts when bragging about pulling myself up by my bootstraps.

This is the kind of snowflake butthurt I'm sick of.

I'm not special. I just worked really hard, got an in-demand skill, and outperformed other people. You can't write it off or dismiss it, and the fact that you want to reorient it as if it's some failure on my part that I can help my mom retire, than you obviously have a lot of growing up to do.

All you guys sitting here bellyaching about the american dream being a sham need to go to a place like India where they have literally have billions of people and a poverty line of like 35%. America isn't perfect, but they give you public schools and the kids here get medical care. It's not the greatest, but just by being born here you're automatically in like the wealthiest 5% of the entire planet.

Get some perspective.

Stay mad, faggot

Yup. When I was a kid I ate peanut butter and pickled beet sandwiches cuz we were too poor for jelly at the time (also, pretty sure my dad wanted to fuck with me).

Now I’m a professional engineer making $90k/year ten years out of college.

He's an angry elf.

He’s right tho. America’s Pretty fucking awesome compared to most of the world.

>when, bugs... become real

Yep.
Started in a trailer, now I can have just about anything I want. I don't want stupid shit, so that helps.

Not since 2015

...

Nope::: our government took that away. Our constitution is based on individual freedoms and self reliance. But try and be self reliant and get arrested for not getting electric from the grid. Or having a garden in your yard

Hook to the grid and go solar so you can sell power back. If you can't do that where you live move somewhere that you can cuz you're in a pisspoor state. And stop whining.

Depends. What do you want out of it?

>Free time and a bunch of debt/liability
You can cruise this lifestyle if you're young and dont mind working your ass off or whoring yourself out later in life.

>Work hard, play hard, burn out young but at least feel satisfied
Also possible but it isn't for everyone (Im doing this currently and wanna die half the time)

>Work hard as fuck and have no life, but acquire fiscal comfort and freedom that others cannot comprehend
Totally possible, but it WILL kill you or at the least rob you of a lot of things you'd wanna do. No time for dreaming or self exploration.

All this is feasible currently in the US. Just depends if you're a H. Thompson or a B. Madoff at heart.

Yes OP, America may not be the best but it's still really good.

Left home at 17, we had to drink powdered milk because my parents were divorced. Now my house is paid off and I'm upper middle class.

Yeah, OP's pic shows a biker with a scooter, in America you can easy have a Gixxer 750

did you manage to reproduce?
