Broke up with a girl I moved in with because of trust issues. Thought I made a mistake a few months later but she said “too bad” and moved on to a much older guy. Broke my damn heart. About a year later she wants to meet. Says the guy turned out to be two faced and verbally/physically abusive. Says she didn’t realize at the time how kind I am. A few months later we’re talking quite frequently and start going on dates. She then tells me she doesn’t want a relationship but is faithful to me and doesn’t expect the same from me. She says she wants kids one day and sees me being the father, but she doesn’t want kids right now and reiterates she doesn’t want a relationship. Then she told me she doesn’t want to keep seeing me and left for a trip to Europe for work and we haven’t talked since. Why is this such a mindfuck for me?

Yeah, but current GF worships me and does everything I ask her to without complaint. Ex and I used to argue all the time. I have a child with each of these women now. Got my vasectomy after my second child.
