I somewhat disagree. My quick opinion is that the level design suits the style of play really well, the better a player gets at stringing combos and navigating their environment the more fun and rewarding the game becomes, however it's age shows in the uninspired mission structures, the earlier games made the tasks feel like less of a pointless obligation or gimmick. Either way, skating around and stringing obscenely large combos still kicks ass to this day
