Holy fucking shit.
Nocturnal Animals
Why's this bitch in every movie
Was it good?
is it kino?
OP you faggot, the movie is not out in most countries.
If you've seen it, at least tell us how it is.
No graphic rape scene, dropped.
is there a rip ???
I heard Amy gets naked though, is that true?
>reddit animals
no thanks
Not OP but I've seen it and it is pretty damn good. Probably best film I've seen so far this year, I'd be surprised if it didn't pick up a few Oscars. Michael Shannon is tremendously entertaining in it as well.
Nah, but there are some pretty lewd scenes with her in.
>best film I've seen so far this year
more like in the last decade
Why was she so delusional?
I don't get it.
How could she honestly think she had a chance of reconnecting with her ex-husband, when she aborted his child just so that the divorce would go as smoothly as possible?
her conscience was rekt. That's why she wasn't getting any sleep. she needed to try and do something.
She realised she was tremendously unhappy in her current life and was looking for a way out. She obviously thought Edward was that chance. It seems like he knew that as well, since his whole 'revenge' was planned around getting her hopes up for a reconciliation and then dashing them.
Disjointed mess that oozes 'I'm Directing!'. The plot with Jake Gyllenhal and Michael Shannon is good. The other half with Amy Adams is the most laughably try hard film of 2016.
I know this is bait but making up shit like this is going to make people miss out on seeing a great movie.
I liked that, it was really well done. Too often you see some poor attempts at closure, but this here was really fucked up, and Edward moved on, on his own.
I'm very serious. It's not a great movie in any sense.
>I'm very serious.
this makes it really obvious that you aren't.
To be fair the whole conversation between her and her assistant half way through it was pretty cringey. "Did you love him?" who would honestly have a conversation like that with their boss.
Other than that it was pretty golden though. I liked the juxtaposition how everything in the story was dusty and worn, but everything in the main plot all looked shiny and new and well polished.
,
IS IT ONLINE YET?????
>jake gyllenhaal and amy adams
lmao dropped
They are highly talented.
you must be posting highly
Seen it.
Overrated, halfassed directing, cheap-shit ending.
Horrible attempt at lynchian mirroring.
Only good actor is the supporting villain and cop.
It probably just made you feel marginalized because it made you realize that you'd never be capable of accomplishing such a feat if you were to become a director. Your only way to hide from this truth is to write the movie off as pretentious.
Because it's God, stupid mongoloid.
Were you one of the extras? Stop shilling it, movie is far from masterpiece.
you dont even have objective criticisms, just shit taste
>tom ford movie
>not complete and utter garbage
pretty sure its his only film matey
>An art gallery owner is haunted by her ex-husband's novel, a violent thriller she interprets as a veiled threat and a symbolic revenge tale.
Sounds boring as fuck.
...
not enough quips and iron man for you huh?
The directing was anything but half-assed - every scene in the present timeline was Tom Ford desperately attempting to show off how clever he is.
>She interprets as a veiled threat
What no she doesnt you pretty much creams herself for the whole thing.
Anyone got a gif of the jumpscare half way through
I am going out on a limb with other anons who said this isn't a great movie. It's two pretty boring and shit stories spliced together. The fake redneck double rape and murder story is a simple revenge fantasy with no depth (how the hell was the manuscript so long for such a dumb pulp magazine short story?) The Amy Adams story is angsty and clichéd. The movie is sold on the gimmick that ties the two together, and the twist ending.
Just came back from seeing the movie and it was great.
No spoils but that ending was perfect it left me wanting more while still keeping me satisfied.
ATJ was outstanding in fact the whole cast were.
10/10 desu
>dr strange is out
>arrival is out
>hacksaw meme is out
and you call this reddit? back you go.
The film is probably best of the year anyway for anyone who cares. Im not surprised that idiots are saying it looks boring when theres nonstop capeshit and star wars threads here.
>tfw 2016 has been such a bad year for film that the closest thing to kino all year is a movie by a fashion designer
