Turn offs in music

>melody is amazing
>lyrics are brainlet tier

>singer has a lisp

Lyrics are not even required. The melody is what matters. Most classical music don't even have lyrics yet they're still good.

>lyrics are amazing
>melody is brianlet tier

basically every bob dylan song ever

Yeah but in classical you can enjoy the technical part because you don't hear somebody singing dumb shit

Yeah but shitty lyrics can ruin a good melody

but his phrasing makes it ok

Music affects the soul, lyrics affect the mind. It's the perfect marriage.

then explain why classical appealed to both, asshole

If we're mentioning the soul, I'd say it's the other way around

They tend to have that problem

i only shitpost when i meme

*almost 1 min long drum fill*

ANYTHING made by wh*Tes

Yeah... sonic waves passing through the air... tons to think about there.

lyrics is filler noise 99% of the time. treat it like a synth pad or something

Probably the most reddit comment I've ever read on this dumb board

>talking/interview/filler noise at the beginning

Actually it's probably just an autism/narcissism thing. I can see how you young people could listen to a piece of music and just spend the whole experience entirely in your own head.

The point, though, is for the artist to express themselves- as in, their own thoughts. Whatever forms in your head while you listen is completely independent of the art.

You're just masturbating to the sound of your own voice, you're not appreciating art.

>soul AND mind
get off the internet mom

>cool tune
>is in a language other than english

>Metal with amazing melody and awesome technical guitar skills
>singer sings with a death metal growl

>melody is dogshit
>lyrics are brainlet tier

>math rock with lyrics

uninspired singers are the quickest way to kill a song for me
if you sound like an impression of any other popular singer from your era you are going in the trash
