I listened to My Beautiful Dark Twisted Fantasy because Sup Forums insisted it was good and it was underwhelming.
I don't even know much about hip-hop and I can tell he's overrated.

>NO ONE MAN SHOULD HAVE ALL THIS PEPE

I wanna fuck the Fox

Impossible

wolf of wallstreet

Because rap music is cool, deal with it

Enlighten me then.

How about enlightening yourself?

>THE MERE FACT THAT SHIT SHIT EXISTS

This really got me pumped

How hard is it to recommend some albums and explain their merit?
Harder than acting acting superior to others, apparently.

>youtube.com/watch?v=E58qLXBfLrs

>JAV starts playing

How hard is it to find some albums on your own?

Then don't open your mouth if you aren't willing to give any input other then "ur dumb lel"

>music

I don't wish death upon many people, but the ones who do this absolutely deserve it.

>watching nutshack
>nutshack theme starts playing

I guess I just don't get it anymore

stop

A. he should be able to pick it apart by himself like a big boy.

B. A lot of it has to do with the context of Kanye's career and personal life

But anyways.
MBDTF's production value is magnanimous, exuberant, and an embarrassment of excess. Kanye plays the big headed director to a vast variety of talents, from Elton John to Q-Tip to Alicia Keys to RZA to Rick Ross; above such a large cast is the producer at the center, his raw vision is further polished to the 9's by the top at the time.
The brickwall mastering style is complimented by the creative, meticulous attention to detail down to every snare hit and vocal line.
In my opinion it works brickwall better than most albums, as does Yeezus.
The lyricism brings the best of old Kanye and new, as well as features adding colorful reflections of this insane celebrity life he lives in.
My personal interest comes from the creative ideas, little or big, in the production: 'All of the Lights' ends, only to be welcomed by "I shoot the lights out" in 'MONSTER'; in 'Blame Game' the stereo panning circling of several pitched up or down Kanye's berating an ex to capture the many tongs of a heated argument; the underlying messages of songs like 'Hell Of A Life''s allusions to morally betrayed Christianity, if only to say this is a Hell of a life.
These make this a truly creative venture worth pouring multiple listens into.

As the brilliant cover art would suggest, each song frames his visions of his exuberant life style and past like a masterful, abstract painting, the album a gallery exhibiting his egotistical excellence in such a gaudy manner that the campiness of his creativity is sorta infectious, or at least that's my guess as to why it's so praised by such a large demographic.
It's hardly perfect. But like any interesting art, it's the imperfections of such a worked on piece of art that make it so great.

There. You fuck.
